My professor requested me to play this in 3 weeks in front of the class. 3 days in and I've memorized the whole song. All that's left is to perfect/master the song with the remaining time. Wish me luck TvT
@@diplexcello9065 Just finished an hour ago. Went great, a few mistakes here and there of since I didn't have much time to master it but I think the judges and my teacher enjoyed it. They also requested Habanera and another song too so I played those too 😅
@@francinefiona5266 uhm the book is simply called "howls moving castle" by Dianna Wynne Jones, the story is different because Ghibli changed a lot (for example the plotline and character designs), but I read it and it is as good as the movie and just wonderful, definitely recommend! The book is older than the movie and the movie was only inspired by the book so there's change which makes it even more fun to read because you find things you knew before but also totally new plots!
Thank you so much for these tabs! This is definitely the hardest song I've ever been determined to practice, and also the first song I fully finished. It took me about 1-2 months, and it's still not perfect, but this video has helped immensely to train my skills!!
@@mustafahaider9115 my experience with guitar? I'd say 2-3 inconsistent years or so I listened to this guitar cover, and I really wanted to be able to play it (with no fingerstyle experience), so I just put a lot of effort and time into it. I think I tried to practice at least a few times every week until I got it right
@@くん-v3h see, mastered is a big word haha No but I don't practice it so often anymore, as it has just become muscle memory to me. So I won't be able to play it flawlessly, but I am content with how fluent my playing is
Finallyyyyy!! I've been requesting this for more than a half a year. A special friend of mine actually recommended this song to me and I instantly love it then I saw one of your comment in your video(can't remember which one) when you said you have classical music background or something along those lines then this song automatically pop out of my mind that I think you would play beautifully and it really is!!. THANK YOUUU
I have been consistently watching and playing your arrangements this past month and this has been the period of the biggest improvement in my playing since I started about 3 years ago, you definitely played a big part in it. Your arrangements are so easy to play making harder songs playable without any practice which is very gratifying, your videos are another reason that motivate me to pick up my guitar on a daily basis. I've never played so consistently like this, at least 20 minutes a day for more than a month, I play classically as a hobby and I've started playing advanced pieces this month, thank you
The movie was my mother's favorite movie of all time, and I watched it countless times with her when I was just a kid. Definitly gonna surprise her when I play it out of nowhere.
You really don't get enough credit for these videos man. This is great stuff and I hope you get the appreciation you deserve one day. Although learning these songs is incredibly difficult.
Requests: Good for u- Olivia Rodrigo, the song was in my head for a while but there aren't any good tutorials for it, most of them are for electric guitar Hikaru nara- Goose House Edit: oh and also I really liked your cover of Beggin', I'm about halfway through with it
I already know how to play the guitar but I found out that my crush loves Howls Moving Castle and now I’m determined to try woo him by doing this!! Thank you so much for the tabs and wish me luck !!
i'm just new to guitar, i've been playing for like 2-3 months now i tried to practice this cover today and in just a few hours i mastered the first/second part idk how i did it but i think i'm a fast learner
My burning question is, how does one come up with compositions like this. Like i could memorize songs and tabs but i want to create my own compositions and progression without the help of youtube and with just my ear. I want to learn songs and create my own tabs just by myself. Can you provide some tips, sir? I'd really appreciate it.
Learn music theory, trust me, if you learn music theory you can do all sorts off cool stuff on any instrument, music theory is what will enable/help you with learning songs by ear, modifing compositions and even create your own music (srry for bad english, not native)
Thank you!! Quite hard for me but I'm trying! Its amazing how you make a song sound beautiful on guitar. Keep up the good work!! P.S I hope you do lemon boy or paper hearts :) (just a recommendation)
I hope the stars, they light up the way Cause in my eyes, it seems so far away And when the light goes, i will hold you so close Round and round like it's a merry go round Now that we're dancing under the stars Promise tonight you'll give your heart a chance Cause when the light goes, i will hold you so close Round and round like it's a merry go round..
