This is from that long ago I'd even forgotton I'd taken it! Part of the footage (towards the end) is even on the old camera as I only had 1 battery for the new (hd) one at that point.
Anyway, Merseyrail trains in older livery with older seats and old brown platform furniture alert!
Time stamps to help break things up a little:
0:00:01 Starting off going from Lime Street to Central on the WIrral line
0:02:31 Up on the Northern line platform with a trip down to South Parkway and back to Central
0:14:26 Returning to the Wirral at James Street. We move up to Moorfields and then join a train out to West Kirby.
At 0:19:41 we pass through James Street outbound with much construction work in progress. Was this the beginning of the end for the brown platforms?
0:37:19 At Hamilton Square now with some arrivals and departures. We then join a train down to Hooton
0:44:16 Now on the REALLY old video camera at Chester! We see a couple of trains in and out then return up to James Street
0:58:35 Hop along to Moorfields to see a few more comings and goings before a final nip round to Lime Street.
I'm not going to attempt to list the units featured as I hadn't noted them down at the time and the numbers are reasonably clear on the video. Just a nice little (semi) nostalgia trip that I've been really pleased to come across
