Firstly congratulations to former red and Lioness legend Kerry Davies on her prestigious lifetime achievement award. Secondly congratulations the our women’s under 21’s on reaching the FA Senior County Cup Final after Charlie Chadwick scored 4 goals against Feds. The club, well both clubs should be ashamed of not promoting the derby at all and how they treated the women (who are world class international players with multiple major titles both at club level, Continental and International level) and fans in the build up to this game in comparison to the El Classico earlier this year, North London Derby and Manchester Derby which attracted over 150,000 fans at The Emirates, Olympic Stadium and Etihad stadiums, as well as millions worldwide. Everton should be further ashamed of the state of that pitch, to not even water it properly at the expense of the players, knowing they could get injured is a disgrace. We had injuries all throughout the game and Jas Mathews will miss the rest of the season. Silver lining is we’re now fourth above Man United, we need to throw everything at City on Saturday and win. Definitely need to recall Hannah Silcock and Miri Taylor. Liverpool need to better in promoting our women in future, they and us lifelong Liverpool fans deserve better. YNWA
