Thank you. Meryl and Charlie are such amazing people and have such unique energy. The world became different thanks to their inspirational way of respecting each other and skating with one another.
That was simply amazing. Okay, dancing is hard enough and then you do it with some razor-sharp blades on the bottom of your feet! They make it look like real dancing in the way they present themselves and make their footwork look true to "real" dancing. And to even think of skating that close to someone else going that fast is an accomplishment in and of itself. Their synchronization is impeccable, but I still hold my breath every time they do the twizzles. ;) They better get the gold they deserve at the Olympics this year. They deserved it four years ago.
They are terrific ice dancers and so happy to see Americans rising in this sport which has been dominated so long by teams from othercountries.There is very little difference technically between these two and Virtue and Moier, and makes the competition fabulous. Charlie's also such an attentive partner. Amazing!!!!
They are great! They are amazing skaters and dancers. But in my opinion they just don't have the chemistry that tessa and scott have. And that's why I like the other pair more. Just my thoughts, you don't have to agree :)
Glazing over scoring sheet, they def lost some points in the pattern dances, with a GOE of .14 in the first section as opposed to VM’s .5. From the twizzles, VM was definitely going to get those as well because DW did 2 sets of twizzles, and VM did 3.
This was amazing but I don't know... I feel like this was strictly business I don't feel the passion from the chick but I do from the Charlie White... Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir seem to share the passion just my opinion.

I love watching the American & Canadian dance teams and Charlie White is SO sexy on the ice. I'd like to see Davis & White push the envelope more, and do something riskier, they certainly have the skills to pull it off.
LOL The commentators are saying our eyes are naturally drawn to the women :D Maybe if you're a straight man but my eyes are always drawn towards the man. I have to repeat the videos again and focus on the woman!
Not to take anything away from how brilliant D/W are, & how much I love to watch them - but they shouldn't have won -- and didn't. The best ice dancers in the world - V/M - won and deserved to. .
Virtue & Moir performed better than the Americans. Although Charlie had better hair than all of them. That's really the only thing I like about the American pair.
Reading through the comments, a bunch of people are saying they like V/M better because they have "chemistry". I think Meryl and Charlie have TONS of chemistry, they're just not slobbering all over each other. More power to ya if you prefer V/M's ad nauseam hand-kissing, etc. But to say that D/W have no chemistry is just ridiculous.
These two will always be my favourites! Seeing any of their performances should show everyone what the sport of ice dancing should be. Watching them demonstrates how overrated the performances of papadakis cizeron or virtue Moir were in the last Olympics. None of them hold a candle to these two!
