She made her professional stage debut in The Playboy of Seville in 1971.

2:15 "I know that a lot of my success has to do with luck. I've also poured hard work into it." I *love* that she's humble enough to admit that luck is an enormous factor. Nobody is doubting her talent but luck is huge. There are plenty of untalented & mediocre people who are famous because of luck. Meryl Streep just happened to be one of the lucky who is *incredibly* talented and I love her work as well as her personality. 🙂

I've worked in 285 productions so far and discovered being an extra has FORCED ME into learning as I go...and never had time for lessons and don't want them...for Veep...I was asked to CRY AS HARD AS I COULD TWICE.....there was 350 of us to choose from and he chose me........so when I heard "action" I just flipped that switch in me and just did it..

Thanks for showcasing Meryl in this enlightening way - she’s my Favorite actor, has been so for decades. Many of her films are in my top 10 “movies to watch again and again “. "Live a zen life." To be able to go back to whatever normal is and not live with anxiety every moment of every day, wondering what if anything is next, and how to be present in life again once the acting job is finished. Being present and not get ahead of ones self wondering what comes next and when is what I consider living life. I hope I made sense here? Also, I want to say that I have always thought Meryl Streep is one of the all time greats of our generation. Loved this one. She is so wise. I totally got the part about she knowing to limit herself. But going in an all girls school freed her. That resonated. Great profile - and I would have been very upset if it hadn't given her justice as she is my favorite actor period. I am most inspired by #2: express yourself. Hi Evan - Thanks for your 2 e-mails - a lovely surprise! You asked what personally stood out, about your video on Meryl Streep (You sound wonderful too, by the way). She said "without a partner, I don't exist". She's a Libran, like me, and it really felt good to know I wasn't the only one that felt that way. The 2nd thing that really showed her authenticity, was her confession that "It's par for the course that actors feel fear before every performance." Hi Evan, "Have FUN" is my favorite!!! And that is what I do "Have FUN" when people tell me that I look like Meryl Streep and they start freaking out at the resemblance... I just go ahead and "Have FUN" with it and do a little "acting" and "role playing" myself!!! I tell them "Please don't tell anyone... especially TMZ or the Paparazzi... but I am Meryl Streep's daughter that is why I look like her!!!" Then after my "Academy Award Performance"... I let them know I was just "acting"... LOL!!! Always a good laugh!!! I really wish I could meet Meryl Streep someday so I can have a photo taken with her because I really do get this comment a lot and it has been at all ages of my life. So Meryl Streep if you are out there reading this, I need a photo with you or a role in your next movie!!! LOL!!! Cheers, GGG

I was struck at an early age with hepatitis in a blood transfusion. I've had a liver transplant and have been doing real good for 23 years. Years ago my son married a girl from Dominica. My bucket list is to go to Dominica with my son's family to meet my daughter's mother and father in person. I've only wanted to live long enough to see my son and his family happy!

I analyze pre-existing conditions, actual injuries (rate them mild, moderate or severe---then determine whether permanent and how life will be altered). Lastly determine future medical needs and costs.
