I just bought a challenger the other day but got a little scared they couldnt handle too extreme off road. This has given me really good confidence in them! What are the first things you recommend I should buy to get it equipped for 4x4ing?
Great choice 😉 First mod I started with was a lift and decent set of tyres. I had 31 AT tyres but upgraded to 32 inch muddies. A 2inch lift gets you started. It also freshens up the suspension if you have tired shocks or coils in the rear. Next I would go HD torsion bars if you want to add a bullbar and winch. The kids are endless and the best advice is to set up for what sort of wheeling you will be doing.
Those star pickets that were painted yellow, i was down that way for the Australia day long weekend, and we painted them yellow... we also dug the ditch deeper so more water could be drained from that hole... there is still at least one star oicket in the water we didnt find till we were leaving ... with a near new tyre on one of the other cars.... we are thinking about going back down and see if we can get them out in the new year
From what I have heard, you can't get in there anymore. After the fires and storms we had they closed the area off and turning it into a koala sanctuary.
