Hello , I have a issue When Im exporting package I got this error ; Image does not fit within max page size 2048.2048 and edge padding 2*2*2*:belly [2053,1155] I don't know what to do 😭 Please help me 🤦🏻💔
You are an absolute Genius and you are actively saving me time and from frustration with these videos! I had an issue with Spine that I got stuck on for over 3 months only to find that I can't do what I was trying to do but your analysis of other 2D rig software options is singelhandedly saving my ass right now
Nice video, as usual! A little extra info: Spine is doing sophisticated processing to assign weights automatically, using the mesh's connectivity rather than a simpler distance based approach. This is why Spine's weights won't have an arm bone affect a neighboring torso, or one foot affecting the other. However, when a mesh doesn't have a lot of vertices, the weights can only be so good. It would be interesting to do the same test, but with more vertices. If you make your mesh as you did in the video, then click "Generate" ~10 times, you'll have a nice dense mesh that will work great with auto weights and deform well. Unfortunately it may be a lot of clicks to get the same mesh in other software for comparison. Probably only Unity has a reasonable likelihood for a decent result, so Spine vs Unity would probably be sufficient. Cheers!
Great comparison thanks for sharing! Rigging and animation is something I'm pretty new too but videos like this make it easier! Thank you to you and George :)
Absolutely love this video! I've been looking at 2d rigging animation software and this video was very useful. I was wondering if you know how Spine compares to other paid software like Spriter Pro? Regardless, this was a very helpful video =)

You haven't ben posting in a long time, and not active in other social media. What happened? Are you okay? Does anyone know if she is okay or why she is not posting anymore?
Hi there! Thank you so much for caring, yes, I'm okay :) It's a scary world we're living in and it far from being calm in my region, but I'm okay. The reason for my long absence is actually a happy one. Also, I'm currently gathering materials for a long-awaited new video (it might still take some time though).
Very nice video, thanks, but today I am disappointed with Spine, Photoshop to Spine script is not working I guess it's related to Photoshop version, I wanted to try the software but I can't even add drawings in it, it has to be a JSON file
Hi, could you perhabs do an overview of advanced 2d animation tricks independent of used program? I am looking for ways to make my 2D, skeletal animated main character more lifelike and 3D atm and I think you excel in this. I also thought about buying your udemy courses, but I don't want to use spline. If you could point me to some ressource I would highly appreciate that.
