My review of RTOM's mesh drumheads.
Plus, I go through Toontracks EZDrummer and Superior Drummer. I also cover using these plugins for Logic

That was an awesome tutorial. Been looking for all these elements and it’s the 1st time I’ve seen them all together, so thank you. I have an EAD10 Yamaha with Yamaha triggers.- Not sure if it will connect to Logic PRO and either one of the drumming software . Is the Roland a superior solution? Maybe I will upgrade.

How many inputs does the EAD 10 have? I thought it just had snare and kick triggers.

What ride is that you are using. I'm in a spot where i just can't diced on a new one. I like the Stewart Copeland blue bell i think it is call in sound but the blue paint.... ya not so much

Ok question for you. I recently tried out the Rtom blackhole heads with their triggers. The trigger wasn't for me. I use the Rolands like you. However I was a fan of how durable the head felt. Now that I know these ones exist, how long have they lasted you? Because I use roland triggers into a ddrum module into slate drums for our church, but my mesh heads keep ripping on me! Are you able to get a relatively tight tuning with these ones without the heads ripping from the aluminum rim?

I haven’t tried them out long term but I would think they would last a pretty long time. Just don’t crank the ever living shit out of them. Another thing that could help is have pair of drumsticks solely for the mesh heads. Chewed up sticks and mesh heads don’t mix!

@@berkleedrummer0499 I got some now and they hold up great! I can get a pretty snug tuning as well without the head separating at all. Only down side is triggers are still tough to play with 😅. Just gotta hold out another few months for an Alesis strike pro se lol. Thanks for getting back with me 😎
