Hey hey!! Mesha is one of Santa and Mrs. Clauses daughters! (From my previous home tour at the North Pole!) They have a stunning home with all the farmhouse feels. We loved visiting The Mayfields home today, we love their family! I hope you enjoy this Hallmark Christmas home! In the bathroom, contractors call that a “pony wall”. I love how she added the ship lap to hers. Made it special.

I had carolers too, from around 1980 or so. Loved them, and gave them to a friend’s two little kiddies when I moved.and downsized. I even named them, the boy was “Chris” and the girl, “Noelle”.

I can not believe that is “a pre-fab, double wide”! So pretty decorated for Christmas or anytime! That master bath is exactly how I want to remodel my bathroom!

This home was beautiful and it was decorated perfectly for Christmas. I never comment on these but actually wanted to on this one. Some homes are too much and some homes aren't enough for Christmas. This one was perfect. ♥️

Beautiful house with the cutest little teddy bear puppy!!! And you need to pamper yourself in that beautiful tub! I took a bath tonight with my tray watching you tube, it’s soooo relaxing! I also have a heat fan included with my exhaust fan. You need one!

But, I have to say - the cozy country feeling in your home is causing me to want to do a remodel! Do you have a problem with dust on the shiplap? That would be my big concern because it is windy here - but I LOVE the shiplap! Thank you, Patti.

Holly, the little wall you were talking about in Mesha's bathroom, is called a "pony wall." Were very popular in the late 60's and early 70's. I believe that they must have made a comeback!!! Lol Seriously, they have become popular again. I really like them.

We built our house 2 years ago and we saw the same type of wall in some of the houses we toured first. The builders all referred to this type of wall as a half wall. Funny how things are called something differently in different areas. I think a pony wall sounds much more whimsical. 😊
