I am just tired to talk with my old beatbox brothers and sisters how good were the times back in the days... I want to talk about how good will be in future!
hello my name is Yariv aka djevcheco first I would like to say your so inspiring and extremely talented music is my life too and your 100000000 percent right we need a powerful plan to stop it from happening I was a victim a few years ago I know how sad and definitely gross my family is from your country would love to do a collaboration with you we can make sick music together
Good to hear such a strong pillar of the beatbox community saying this and also reminding us that, although terrible, the sexual abuse allegations are not the only issue currently on the table. It's sad that the "way of the world" has finally found its way into the beatbox scene, but uniting to identifying this, acknowledging it and doing what you can to move forwards from it is the best way to keep the community safe, inclusive and alive.
When I First Time Listened To Beatbox 2 years ago (It was A Video of Berywam) I felt Captivated by it. Then Started Dig Deep into the Community. Started to Listen to More Beatbox. I Really Felt It was Magic. I Started to Learn Beatbox and Fell in love with it. It's Very Sad to See What's going on in the Community Now. But I Believe, The Community Will Bounce Back Up and Get Better than Ever. Just Waitin For that Time to Come. Much Love to You. You'll Always be my Favourite Beatboxer. My Inspiration. ❤❤
Hey Skiller! Curious, what was the crowd size/ ratio of artists to spectators back in 2005? I feel like the "magic" might start diluting when that ratio exceeds a threshold - the time that the community can give to welcome and bond with new talent during the event would reduce, changing it from that amazing experience many have had to more of a fan-artist one. Perhaps having multiple events spread across geographies and time with a limited number of visitors could help grow the community in the right way and enable better control on safety measures. Would love to know your thoughts on this aspect. Also, thank you for sharing the magic, being so helpful and actually taking the time to read through comments & respond with sound guidance! 😊
Very nice point! I totally agree that when the community is bigger it will be hard to keep it so united. Yes, the artists in the crowd were smaller number back in the days, not a drastic difference from now but definitely noticeable. I also would say that online scene plays a role as well. The advantage is that now it is much easier to expand the boundaries and reach new target groups. From the other side, now we have big number of some new people in the community, who feel more confident to hate behind the screens but they will never do it live. I believe that it will be much easier to keep our community 'clean' if more people discuss the problems. This is the easiest thing we can do.... :)
В бийтбокс комюнититу винаги съм виждал само респект и любов какво се случи тази година не знам но е супер отвратително радвам се че една бийтбокс легенда взима участие и отношение в цялото нещо
SkilleR is a legend and blessing to this community! I remember when the Smash drama happened, this feels very similar. Let’s bring both communities to a better place.
The topic is really crucial for the existence of our beloving Beatboxing Community . If the community didn't existed , there would have been no evolution in the beatboxing sounds and patterns . Those who are doing this kind nuisance , they are indirectly destroying the reason for their existence . I have never been part of such kind of big event , but as per my perspective each and every community should be safe for everyone . We stand as a Community , and it is the reason for our existence . Esh
hey skiller maybe you wont reply to this but i really hope the situation right now in the community is wayy different and hoping its better im new to the community and i just got to know about these allegations and stuff there isnt much else online for me to find i know it has been over an year and im hoping its better now its really amazing the way you put it out.... ...you are a good person
Awesome. Well, we are as a whole still unaware of any details, or anything for sure. Tomazacre could still be innocent and I hope he is, but I also realize he may not be. I hope we get those details and confirmations on what went down, because without them we know nothing.
That's true! I totally agree! That's why I did not discuss any specific case, because we don't have facts. But at the same time it is strange that we don't hear the other side...
@@skillerbeatbox good point. We'll see. Either way Tomazacre should be given a chance to rectify the situation with apology and reparations, and not be exiled in any way, if he did it. Same goes with Wunknown, whom I'd like to see on a big stage again.
tomazacre allegedly sexually harrassed someone and Max faced hate due to his country of origin, Israel. And their were many more disturbing sexual harrassment and bullying cases at this years gbb
The most touching and real statement I have heard. Beatbox is indeed a kind of language that connects people. You came to share your love and passion, and you have grown to one of the most popular entertainers. Much love from Germany. I hope the victims get justice. And the discriminated should be accepted at their rightfully earned place between everybody.
Any kind of hate, abuse or harrasment is not tolerated in this community. If i ever going to travel any beatbox event i make sure i do my part to intervene these kind of situations. Everyone should make that move! Love and respect to all beatboxers and who like/love beatbox♥️
Thanks SkilleR, even tho im fairly new in the beatbox scene (1.5 years) its still not right that this is happening to the victums and the beatbox Community
Was at GBB2016 as a 16 year old and had the same experience. Everybody was so welcoming. No matter if you were skilled or not. We enjoyed beatboxing together and that is what its about. Having a great time together and just beatbox. Your take at this is perfect !
Much love, much respect... You all are beautiful people... People that hurt others shouldn't have a place in your family... That being said, most people that hurt others bare the ones hurting the most inside ... I DEFINITELY DON'T CONDONE ANY BEHAVIORS LIKE THAT ITS HORRIBLE... BUT ITS TIME FOR ALL OF YOU BEAUTIFUL SOULS TO LET THE COMMUNITY KNOW YOU'RE THERE FOR THEM... AND KEEP AN EYE ON THE CHILDREN...
Guys like tomaz freakin killed the experience everyone from the community should experience, the excitement, love and acceptance that Skiller experienced. Damn, lets all make sure all of our family members from the beatbox are safe.
Really good points from one of our respectable OG Community 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I just want to say, this deserves respect on a very high level. Skiller, I love your perspective about respect on not only a verbal level, but a music level. The music really brings us together💜 before gbb, everyone was excited to see each other. I know that times like these can be very uncomfortable. Truly spoken, the community needs to be that safe place that you found. Thank you so much for sharing with me. I appreciate listening to your message.
Hi SkilleR, we met first time at Boxcon UK in 2007, I remember how very positive the experience was and this video resonates with me. We need to bring Diversity and Inclusion training to the community. Many companies have this now. I agree we need to focus how we conduct ourselves in the future.
It's really sad to say...i think the problem is that the community is bigger than in the past: lots of people and lots of different ideas, different characters and variety, as beautiful as it is, leads to conflict. I'm not part of the beatbox world but from a distance I feel, even remotely, part of this reality. And like all beautiful things, sooner or later, something brings them to ruin... Maybe a little too pessimistic, but unfortunately I learned it in the music and arts sector. I wish it will be better. You say Beatbox is Magic. I say Music is Magic
Big up for this skiller! It is very good that you have posted on this issue because you also discussed other problems at hand. Once again, big up for this and have a great day.
Thank you for sharing your story ! It was so lovery to hear a beautiful story about your first encounter with the beatbox.!! Why I love the Beatbox community is not only about your guys talented technic but from a personality that your guys have. I believe that Beatbox scene getting more better from now on with great people ! Right now, the beatbox is getting more attention from the world, and at the moment the beatbox world is in a developing state. .. I think it is a good time to revise the rules and guidelines in order to develop more and be recognized by the world. I would like all the players discuss about it and try to improve the beatbox more better place .
