Same, but I’m not a home wrecker so I’ve been no contact for a couple years after trying (and failing) to just be friends for five years. My feelings for him never changed, even though I knew nothing could happen between us. I don’t want to hurt his family. I thought my feelings for him would go away after time, like I really thought they’d just fade over time, but no, they only ever got stronger. So I walked away.
