He knows what it means to be a captain, he acknowledges the former captain and doesn't hesitate to invite him to feel one of the most beautiful experiences a captain can have. Messi understands the true values of sport. Mad respect, Leo.
@@Lolapalooza-ug9jvas good as Messi is, he can't win the cup alone. It's good to acknowledge that he joined a team that existed before him, and needed them to get the W.
@@Lolapalooza-ug9jvyou think he became the best to ever kick a ball by being timid? Don’t let the soft persona fool you, this man is a relentless monster and that’s how he got to the top. The accolades he’s achieved this trophy won’t be massively exciting to him but will mean so much more to the former captain. He’s basically semi retired.
The thing is you guys only see him but why not cristiano ronaldo, who lost a son, his father died during an euro game. And u only see him. What is wrong with this generación.😢
Brhh something is wrong with u complimenting someone doesn't mean he hates Ronaldo. There are lots of other players who had harder life then Ronaldo . Just because you love ronaldo that u know everything about him doesn't mean others know about that too.
@@_Lucky0_0Ronaldo is better to love than Messi. More skills More personality and passion. And he even has great side traits. Messi is just a short npc who autistic who plays for Argentina and is lucky to have the World Cup of his. If not his toxic fans wouldn’t be everywhere on every Ronaldo page and invading Ronaldo because he’s a better guy to support. Ronaldo is like the red pill.
@@johncanthearyouNo it’s literally always better then not being self aware. If your mentally i’ll and are self aware then you can actually potentially differentiate between what’s real and what’s not and not lash out at anyone in a random spur of violence, it might suck for the person experiencing tho as being unaware of how fucked up goy are would be the better option if they aren’t able to be rehabilitated
@johncanthearyou if you're mentally unwell, chances are you're not very self aware. Self obsessed perhaps, but not self aware. Self awareness is knowing how your actions and words will affect other people. Messi knew very well that he was the new guy and made sure the guy that was the leader before he arrived got the recognition he deserves. A lot of people in his situation would have just hoisted that trophy and made it all about them and then wondered afterward why everyone was so upset with then them.
This video is talking bout how he is so humble, everyone makes mistakes just like the store when they ran out of protection so ur mom had to do it without. It is still proving to be an annoyance for everyone.
I spent a week working with Messi at the Free Kick Masters 2008 in Houston as crew for an ESPN taping of the event. All of football’s (soccer’s) greats were there. Messi was approachable, kind, quiet an humble. I have great memories and great respect for the man.
Yeah very very rear ,even impossible,he is just cunning and manipulative to trick people like publicly for you to believe he his humble, while he is not
Ok and? He’d probably lose by KO to an amateur 16yo Gervontae Davis (same weight class and all). You think Ronaldo can’t beat Messi in a boxing bout? 😂😂😂 gtfoh 🤣🤣🤣
There will never be anyone like Messi. Being the best but still having the least acknowledgement of it. Being confident and sometimes arrogant is good in a competitive sport, like Ronaldo and Zlatan. But being humble despite being one of the greatest is even more badass.
he literally just appreciated messi's act for the team. But somehow these messi meat riders bringing smoke to ronaldo. That pretty much explains the kinda fan base messi have.
I don't know anything about the sport, but everyone knows Messi was recently signed. I presume the other gent was the previous captian he displaced? If so, very kind of him to include him like that, sportsmanship like that is really fantastic to see.
There's a reason the true greats in team sports all seem humble. Being a superstar and carrying a team is great, but you got extra sets of hands/feet out there for a reason. The ones that know and utilize.this prosper
Cause Messi has already said... he's achieved everything. He's having fun now and focusing on his family as PSG took away from that and now he's passing the torch and mentoring. Messi winning the MLS cup or any cup in America should be considered a participation trophy
He knows what it means to be a captain, he acknowledges the former captain and doesn't hesitate to invite him to feel one of the most beautiful experiences a captain can have. Messi understands the true values of sport. Mad respect,
Not really. This is like he’s playing in high school league. He dont care bout the championship. So he doesn’t mind giving the team leader status and the trophy to someone else.
He’s also helping build the football culture in America the right way. Everybody likes to hate on us football obviously the quality isn’t the same as Europe but the passion and love is the same
Yeah , and that team , (especially Yedlin) , will now give 110% for Messi , he's showing , (through his actions) , that they are a "Team" not a one man Messi show.... Such a simple and kind gesture , but Yedlin will never forget that. That's how a True captain behaves.
@@zacknewton1064 What is wrong with you brother? First, Messi never played CF and second Zlatan's beef is with Pep..If you are such a big fan of the big man, you would know how highly he praises Messi and disses Pep. Go watch 2010 Barca v Zaragoza and see how unselfish and empathetic Messi is towards Zlatan....
Is it me or does it seem like Messi genuinely loves playing in the states? It shows with the love he has for his teammates, and he just seems overall happier than he had in his last few yrs in Europe.
As CR7 fans since united years, Messi is the undisputed GOAT 🐐🇦🇷 but i personally still love ronaldo more because his mentallity and how it inspire me and change my life 🇵🇹. I respect Messi tho
That’s very literally the definition of humble!! That’s why I fw Messi, and I don’t play soccer, I love all sports but ima football and baseball head and basketball, but I love Messi! Bro sooo humble!!
Such a Humble person. He is the example of not taking over the team's captain before He came to Miami even though he is the world renowned beast on the field. ❤
It’s nice that he did that. Gets rid of any tension they might of had. I personally would hate it if I was the captain or leader of something important to me and then a random person appears out of nowhere and takes it from me.
Wait that’s actually so real from him , he genuinely doesn’t care about the credit. Messi not having an ego at such a high level is just… inspirational fr
That’s the thing though, it’s not a high level at all. For Messi, who has won the World Cup, the copa America, the champions league, many Spanish League cups and the cup del rey, this is amateur level stuff for him. He doesn’t care about adding a MLS trophy to his name. In fact, before Messi joined the MLS I had never even really heard of it or watched a single minute of it.
@@Amsterdamned33I get you but my point still stands he’s a real humble guy it’s not only here he’s always been so genuine , like for example we both know Ronaldo would’ve taken all the credit. (Not hating on Ronaldo he’s my idol)
He’s humble and cares for his teammates no matter where he goes. This is why Messi is one of the best player in football history. Players like Messi and Ronaldo who don’t just impact the team on the pitch but off as well.
