He made his shortcomings his strength......he has definitely great skillset.....he does the simple things that work not flashy dribbles which just looks good but not functional.
Chasing my potential did a video on this as well, breaking down that exact dribble during the Copa Del Ray final. There was also a doctor who made a 3 part series breaking down why Messi is so good from a mental and athletic perspective. I like how people are finally seeing how Messi’s dribbling is more than just running and small touches with the ball. Messi himself said he was never comfortable with doing skill moves like Dinho, so he stuck to body feints
YOU'RE WRONG @0:57 He didn't get his DRIBBLING SKILLS from playing for years and building muscle memory, He got it as a GIFT from God. You can't learn that, and you can't teach that.
Ive always had this thought about playing tag but everyone had to keep the ball next to their feet, would this be a good training method or no? I played tag a lot as a kid and i found that it gives you the instincts to know when to run past people and when to go in and tag people could this be applied to football?
He shoots in between from like 3 or 4 person so the goal keeper view is disturb. And he don't hit hard most of the time messi aims and smoothly shot hence the Goal keeper mpst times sees the ball only when it's too late. Thats the reason why Messi everytime time scores with such elegance and control and beautiful game to watch
Once meradona said everyone wants be like Messi because they can't be like Ronaldo. This science matter is lie because CR7 beat all of these with his hight...
1:45 its easier to knock over a short person because the easiest way to push someone over is pushing the upper part of them which is much easier to do with a short person
