Merci pour le partage de cette belle archive. Pierre Barbizet nous avait donné cette pièce en son temps. Je ne l'avais pas faite vivre comme vous, loin de là. Des années après, je la redécouvre, et c'est magnifique. BRAVO et MERCI de nous emmener de la sorte dans l'univers de Messiaen.
prodigieux Roger Muraro mais avant tout immense interprète c'est à dire au service de la musique et du compositeur qu'il connût et dont il nous livre ici une merveilleuse page. Quand on écoute tout l'oeuvre pour piano de Messiaen par Muraro on est ébloui et ému. Et s'il n'y avait que ce compositeur!! Ravel ou Chopin sont des références absolues par lui .ah quand donc reconnaîtrons nous enfin nos très grands artistes français mais avant tout universels !!!!l (pas qu'au piano!!!) On reste scotché de bout en bout, et presque malgré soi, par cette pièce extravagante et cette interprétation tellement engagée ... Merci mille fois de nous rendre Messiaen si proche !
Interpretazione molto sentita ed emotiva. Le dissonanze sono molto ben evidenziate. Atonalismo serialità armonie - colori uccelli consonanze diluite in accordi dissonanze prolungate dal pedale.con colorazioni SOSPESE!!!!! Un effetto strabiliante e indescrivibile!!!!! Il più GRANDE!!!!!!!!!!!
Either he has a terrific memoire and he decidedly fell in love wit Messaien's Vingt Regards . I had a beautifil 1950's huge score of this music . It was a seed that made me love all things 20th and 21st century !

I recorded all twenty pieces of this monumental work and presented Messiaen with the three LPs.. "Le baiser" is one of the simplest and most direct piece in the cycle, a hushed lullaby of great beauty and has a simple melody over the most subtle harmonies, though the piece is largely tonal. This performance is a mushed-up travesty, unaware of or unable to bring off the voicing needed to clarify the texture, so the melody falls away into limbo. He managed to make the first 6-7 minutes sound as consisting of endless repeats to no purpose of a faceless chord. All musical sense and organic progress was knocked out of the piece to such an extent that I could not recognize it at first and thought that the title was in error.
