I think all of these "NEW" keyboards are underwhelming for live stuff. I have had the MODX7 for a week and its not that easy to make songlists with sound and tone accurate covers without MAJOR menu diving with a whimpy owners manual... Kinda disappointed. @@Peter_Kurzweil_K2700 Be aware of Kronos's start time - about 2 minutes. If you are into Kurzweil, maybe wait for K2700 (3k€). Or buy a Controller Kbd with AT (Keystep etc.), Hydrasynth has even Poly-AT. Most class compliant USB-Keyboards should be compatible with MODX device port, and someone on YT even connected a touch screen with it (via a hub).
@@pontram I loved the keybed on the PC3x. Loved the orchestral sounds. Loved the assign all to all! Loved the amount of work to do on it. I know the start up time on the kronos.
@@Peter_Kurzweil_K2700 Well, they had to save on something in order to bring you the ModX - Yamaha Montage is still the granddaddy of them all, and it has all those extra faders, aftertouch and more polyphony :) And the keyboard of the Montage is SOOOO much better.
