First, I'm NOT a keyboard player. I just mess around with keyboards and use them for music writing and general goofing off. But I was so enamored by the microKORG XL I bought for my daughter, I felt I needed to do a video. This keyboard rocks! The analog sounds are really good, especially the basses and leads. I can highly recommend this keyboard, especially if you buy it used, like I did. I paid half of retail and the unit was worth every penny and then some. The cool thing is that it takes batteries, so she can practice on the porch or at the picnic table in the back yard. Or even take it over to a friend's house with having to worry about losing the power supply. Of course, it comes with a power supply and the batteries only last 4-6 hours, but it's still a cool feature. The mini keys feel surprisingly good.
Sorry for the video quality. I just couldn't get the lighting right and I didn't have much time today to get it right. I tweaked for a few minutes and that's the best I could get it, but I think it looks a little too bright. The lamps were probably too close, but I had them backed up as much as I could with the little space I have down here. Anyway, enjoy!
