This game was at a street roda in Golden Gate park. Mestre Marcelo Caveirinha(Marcelo Pereira) is the founder of Capoeira Mandinga. Mestre Marcelo was a student of Mestre Suassuna, who is the co-founder of "Associacao de Capoeira Cordão de Ouro". In 1984, Mestre Marcelo left Brazil and settled in the United States. At that time, he was one of only three people teaching capoeira in the US. Mestre Marcelo is also known as the real life incarnation of the Tekken video game character "Eddy Gordo." Excuse me but Mestre Marcelo has also done a lot of work towards furthering capoeira. Much respect to all the mestres. What have you done for capoeira lately?

You're probably right, but you'll notice it is the same description he used for a large series of videos of Mestre Marcelo and many famous Mestres as a promotion for Marcelo's group Capoeira Mandinga, so I wouldn't take it as any disrespect.

So, every video has to give the history of God as well, since God is present throughout? It's redundant. This video is one in a series about Mestre Marcelo Caveirinha, not about Mestre Camisa. No disrespect to Mestre Camisa whose jogo is clean and has done much with capoeira, but In this video, he is a co-star. He may have more capoeira history and recognition, but this video was not posted about him. You are welcome to post your own video of Mestre Camisa and write his bio in it.

funny to see the extrems comments on Mestre Camisa Games on RU-vid. Without doubt abada is one of the biggest group in the world, but without any doubt it is like all huge companies : it as some good sides but it is mostly bad. I personally don't like the techniques and games I had seen from Abada teachers, but still have lot of respect for Mestre Camisa cause he is responsable for lot of work for capoeira in the world.

i said that cuz the description is full of Marcelo and Marcleo and Marcelo.. and i think Mestre Camisa has a bigger place in the capoeira world.. is not respect, its to talk about hierarchy

es una tontera lo que hablas, que mestre camisa sea un buen capoerista y famoso, no lo hace Dios y menos le hace favores a los otros por jugar con el; tampoco creo que tu mestre piense asi hablando asi solo dejas mal los valores de tu grupo, deberias medir y ser responsable, no solo los profesores hacen un grupo de capoeira tambien sus alumnos
