The officer places his thin blue line badge on his chest but the doesn't pick up the cross. From a Muslim faith British born citizen, it was difficult watching it. We all know he would have picked up poppy or TBL badge.
Picking up the cross and delivering it back to a church and picking up the discarded newspaper were both lovely public spirited actions that the police officers would do well to emulate. Massive respect to you AB.

It’s quite simple to understand that when a member of the Police Force approaches a member of the public, he /she should be more polite & courteous in a manor we expect from them considering it is the general public who pay their wages!

As a exsoldier I find no offence to a flag that is what if refered to at being tactical... We wore a tactical version on our uniforms on deployment.What I am offended by is when they add that bloody thin blue line.... That is defacing the flag..... Also I am not religious in anyway shape or form but I am proud to count myself as one of your fellow countryman AB after you respected the Cross ..Fantastic of you...

Auditing channels have been on RU-vid for a long time now....How can there be Police forces in the UK who STILL don't know how to deal with them and their cameras??? I feel that their superior officers are failing police officers on the beat by not arranging training to bring them up to speed on how to deal with this.

Why is he spending 10 minutes writing down your description instead of turning on his bodycam and you were on CCTV anyway. There was no point for him to take down your description he just wanted to escalate things and provoke you.

I agree with AB and this applies to any state run entity the government should prohibit their institutions conduct in the desecration of a national flag they swore allegiance to. In my opinion it's disrespectful and being funded by the people is not an appropriate representation of all those you serve. In the case of policing you can also interpret this many ways one being the "blue wall of silence", an informal code among police used to cover up police misconduct. Basically it's divisive and a state entity such as police have no business in fuelling such. So don't be lazy go make your own flag or poppy rally behind something you have created not desecrated. Other civilian organisations can be creative and have done so, learn from their efforts design a unique statement.

Your channel is absolutely fantastic, the way you conduct yourself is impeccable, your wit and knowledge of the law is commendable, policing by consent doesn't seem to be something all the officers on your videos understand. When I imagine them without their vests on, they look even more ridiculous. Keep them coming man, what a guy.

There's an old saying, "If you want to know the time, ask a Policeman!". This comes from the days when Police Officers used to (and probably still do) steal watches off of drunk people in the street.
They steal a lot more from people who are in custody as well, I had 420 quid stolen off me in Huddersfield police station a while back, before I was released without charge
the police take anything of value as they know they will get away with it. drugs valuables you name it thata why drugs arnt officially taken from you as your warned verbally.
