Meta’s Cox on Building AI Into the Product Suite 

Hold on now.... Instagram and facebook have a ton of selfies of people under the age of 18... but also a ton of explicit content. They trained on all of it together. Additionally, instagram hosts a ton of artwork and copyrighted material uploaded by users, often not by the person who actually made the art. So you just stole a bunch of stuff from people who didn't consent...?

Interesting points, but very irresponsible for Meta, releasing Open Source model to China. Basically enables China to catch up to the U.S, with no issue 😅

Damn, these important AI events, but Bloomberg with an annoyingly painful buzz and Forbes with a lousy Interviewer 🤦‍♂️
