Can i do a metanalysis for both cohort and case control study in the same analysis Or i should use only one type either cohort or case control?

thank you so much for this excellent introduction In systematic review, as I know form meta-analysis used for randomized clinical trials, but is it possible to used meta-analysis for cohort study or observation studies (cohort, case control and cross-sectional studies), particularly in case of drugs' adverse effects? thanks
