FYI, the issue I had turning it on was due to a faulty power button. Had it replaced and the new one powered up straight away with no issues!

I have a valve index for my pcvr, primarily for sims msfs and dcs. My quest 2 however I use primarily for media consumption, netflix, youtube, etc. The native browser plays videos no problem. You can also adjust the screens for when you’re laying down. Its a gamechanger, no longer use an ipad. Nothing beats watching a huge screen floating on the ceiling while laying down in bed. Just remember to get a long usb c cable to plug in while laying down so you dont have to worry about battery life.

yes same I just ordered mine on amazon and Its coming on the 31st and i cant wait to try it out, I couldn't get the quest 2 in stores because they were all sold out :/ and yea ik the quest 3 came out but its expansive and I heard some people experience lag issues and people say it feels weird playing gorilla tag and tbh I like the quest 2 controllers more because they have a ring on it and it feels really comfortable while playing a game like gorilla tag but i can't wait to try it in hand :D

THANKS for 1 Not taking yrself too seriously (something I've drummed into my (now adult) kids. 2 not trying to cram too much into this as it's a cultural/generational shock for the likes of me 😱😍 I'm so glad I chose your channel to look at more closely first, (thrs a lot of VR related channels on yt) as relating to the "Individual" presenting is such an import thing, at least for me, and u will be my first port of call for anything VR related! Great video; I remember when I borrowed one to try on. I was having an oh-hum day. Because I had borrowed it, I did my unboxing video the same night, so I could return it promptly. Once I put it on, my whole mood changed. It was as if I went into Narnia's closet or that Nutcracker Four Realms and back. It was a mini adventure or vacation. My whole mood was wowed. So, a few months later, I bought one. I have it in the box still. I'm debating on doing a new unboxing video. Because the first one was a pre-opened box. I did learn it had to be fully charged to be usable. If I remember correctly. I would have liked to see more footage in your video - mine I left pretty much unedited, but since it wasn't mine, I didn't buy any games to play. Just did all the free stuff.

I cannot wait to get one! Sadly, I've gotta try to get the money by myself since my family is going through financial problems here on Brazil. Plus, for something like the Oculus Quest 2, it takes so long to even gather all the money just to buy it or even a decent computer. Like, to get R$ 3000 here in Brazil (which is like $200 or $300), it takes like, 1 year and 8 months just to get it.

I have the 3 also I gave my 2 to my little sister . The 3 is slightly better but when watching movies in the 2 looks better because the black is darker and make the colors pop . Watching movies on the 3 is good but the black is kind of grey in the theater 😐

Mine was a faulty power button. I managed to get it going anyway by plugging it in and out over and over. But eventually I got it replaced

Just got resident evil bundle , just miss when games had actual dvds and etc like for this one it would be a like a Nintendo switch lol and the bundle came with free silicone face pack , I was like this didn’t come with old bundle
