I had a quest one, and just upgraded and omg I love it. The menu looks so much better like you are looking at a nice phone screen and the camera even though it is still kinda blurry, it is in color so you can fully see your surroundings
Wait until they fix the tracking issue on Quest 3. We use our Quest 2s over our Quest 3s because the tracking on them is so bad, even after several updates. Might even be a hardware issue they won’t be able to fix with a software update
I work at Best Buy and this 82 year old lady came in asking what you could do with it. She used to be an extreme skier, rock climber and rode motorcycles cross country. I told her that there’s all kinds of games like those to download so she was able to relive those and she took it home and honestly she was so excited. I forget this is a marvel of tech and not just a gaming console
How do you know this? That lady is a grandma and she should’ve not told anyone about that stuff about her like the time she went to drink 20 cans of beer
I also got my quest 3 yesterday because I threw my other controllers into my dogs water bowl😢cans my mom randomly came home with a $900 quest 3 whoever said money doesn’t buy happiness the quest 3 sure does The sound quality is better You can actually see the colors of your house when your in pass through And it has way more features then any other quest And honestly it was for a great deal If you play gorilla tag move your arms as fast as you used to these controllers are so light you can run like 1000mph on GT
I mean yea, the quest 3 is cheaper but it’s meant for gaming, and the Vision Pro is meant for everyday use, and work, and it’s still something new, in the future when they continue working on it, no headset will compete with it
@MaxNels0n ur not wrong there man apple if they can give us a vr headset that plays games and doest cost a down payment on a house lol I'd definitely play
@@spookyo0423Ik ur just lowkey playing fam 😂💯 but actually what do you think a down payment for something around 3,500$ would be?….. anywhere between 800-2000$ if you were some how able to find a pay service that allowed you to or maybe using apples credit card (don’t think it would REQUIRE ANY downpayment though.. would be all up to you. If u wanted to pay ZERO today, shoot go ahead and then just pay 1 payment a month afterwards) I mean dude my monthly car payment is literally around 8-900$… lol I just wanna let you know $3500 is absolutely NO WHERE near what a down payment on a freaking house would be…(if your the responsible type to stick to the 20% rule that is)…(I mean yeah not tryna be “that guy” I know… I understand you were just trying to be sarcastic and funny) 💯 good day homie but real life financials are soon gonna give you a scare my man 🤣💯
@@kbgriggs496 It is really good. Definitely better than ps5 old boring flat that you can't even play it anywhere and you need to spend extra $550 for tethered vr
Meta Quest 3 is gonna be the breakthrough VR platform, that will become just as popular Sony PS, and Xbox. Got mine at launch .. at least 3 hours a day of play since!
I have a funny story about getting mine 😂: I went to Walmart to go grocery shopping and brought my money, I went to the electronic isle to buy vbucks and saw that the tag for the quest 3 was in a case, but there were none there, so I go to the desk and ask if they have any. 20 minutes later they come out of the back with one.
Passthrough always looks clear when recorded. BUT if you use passthrough in a bright room, Especially in a room with white LED type lighting, the passthrough is much better.
@@ultimateminecraftmasters7042 Then you are probably very young because I just turned 13 and they admit that they won’t buy that stuff for me anymore because I’m too old.
Had mine about 6 months now, absolutely love it, first time getting a vr and couldn't be happier, both standalone and using it with my pc. Cant recommend enough
@@hi_how_are_ya_ omg what happened? and i put youtube vr on mine for watching videos. it’s so nice. also i saw a clip of a dude wearing his meta quest in the bath tub 😅
I got mine and gotta say the mixed reality, improved hand tracking and graphical resolution made this one of the most important pieces of tech ive owned, i could litrally replace my laptop with this with a bobo m3 headstrap and more battery life
@@nicolagosman6457The meta quest products arent like cardboard vr where you need to put your phone in to use it, its a whole console on its own. The only thing you'll need your phone for is to link up the headset with the Meta Quest app.
@@chaosbuilder1531idk bro they just make up some random rules like its not like their allah predicted there would be VR headsets coming out and said: "nuh uh"
@@MurphyMcMurphsterI just sold mine cuz it wasn’t that much of a diff. Surprisingly, quest 2 works smoother for pcvr with less artifacting with R.E.A.L mod 🤷🏽♂️
Not sure what is mind blowing about it... Got mine and it still is super pixelated, got a dead pixel near the viewport and the battery lasts 1 and a half hour. And yes I did refund it and will wait for something better
Échenle ganas a los clips en Instagram y tik tok, hay mucha gente que le gustará este programa. Le auguro mucho éxito, solo no lo abandonen y échenle ganas 👍
@@panoslagas4515 the definition of mixed reality is literally a blend of physical and digital worlds. It does in fact have that. I just bought one a few days ago and there are plenty of augmented aka mixed reality programs or videos. Do you not own one yourself? Obviously the quality isn't as good as maybe apple vision pro if that's what you mean. That's more of a daily consumer, everyday use type situation where as the quest is more of a gaming/entertainment device.
bought a quest 2 recently since they went down in price and i was actually very surprised if its your first time trying vr it might be better do get a quest 2 or something cheaper first as it does take some time to get used to and some people might not be willing to take that time derealization and motion sickness are very real things though that have a good chance of happening when you first get into vr just stick with it for a couple of week and everything should return to normal
Spend more time looking up if you can help it. Pulling the neck forward like that puts exponential pressure on your CNS. This over time can impair motor function as well as general cognitive function. If you cant hold your head up rest back
Cheaper, not better, they are just different. Different purposes, different tasks. E.g. you can't wear quest 3 walking on the streets. Also you can't comfortably play vr games at home with apple vision.
I finally gave in since they had one at Target. At $500, the price point quality ratio is finally within reason, and I already have a decent PC. I gotta say, it’s pretty damn cool. I’ve been playing NMS, Skyrim, Minecraft, and a few others and it gave me that same “wow” feeling I haven’t felt since the jump to DirectX 9, or when I first started getting into PC gaming. Hell even watching RU-vid feels epic with the movie theater screen.
Got mine for christmas, then it broke after 2 hours. Now, here i am in February with my replacement I just got. It's still a nice machine, though. Definitely worth it.
Anyone who uses only meta and new. I'm a vr addict. It wasn't mind blowing to me. It is very much worth upgrading though. Lens ive used loads on pico. So it was more of meta coming into next gen of standalone lenses.
You can do chores and watch RU-vid at the same time. Something I've wanted for years. Also, be able to move screens anywhere you want without a barrier like Quest 2. The only thing I want on this is to put several displays around a room without keeping them together. It would make the Quest 3 that much more enjoyable.
the main downside of this vs a quest 2 is the lack of tracking rings, because when i am playing games like gorilla tag and i am swinging my arm, i hit furniture with the rings and not my hands the ring both tracks and protects
I am 13, and I just bought myself a quest 2, by far one of my best purchases. It’s truly amazing. My sisters love the Epic Roller Coaster game, and I play Gorilla tag a lot. It’s really fun, the pass through isn’t to bad, and I am able to do chores with it on. I definitely recommend a quest 2
just the differnence in size alone is enough to make me want to dump my Quest 2 for the 3rd gen; always felt like VR headsets were a bit cumbersome and heavy and this one doesnt look much bigger than the "VR" headsets that u put ur phone into to watch VR videos back in the early days of VR; insane leap in tech
