Ryan. So sorry I didn’t see this message. I have been busy prepping a trip back to America. It is almost time to return to Thailand though. Have you already made your trip?
@@DiscoveredUnderGround can you give me agood spots at pai ? North of thailand.. my wife wants go north and i,lkke to detect underwater at the islands. It will be coll if u got some spots for me at pai,❤️ thanks brother
I've been to Northern Thailand many times in pursuit of ancient beads which we sifted some ancient grounds for artifacts and beads. Do you know what the gentleman did with those rings . Usually they will be sold to antique shops I. Bangkok or they have a broker who purchases them
Great Video. I live in Bangkok but travel everywhere. im working on getting some permissions but i dont have a group. I have a pulse induction machine and would love to connect sometime at your convience. I think the garrett PI machines are all pretty similar but im not an expert. I wouldnt mind trying a Deus in Thai soil but I dont yet own it.
I would rather hunt there than at the beaches. I’ve watched some Thailand beach detecting videos and it’s just the same tourist jewelry and modern stuff (junk) that we find here in the states.
Hi Michael. We aren’t too far from each other. I am in Amnat. I will be heading back to Thailand in about a month. Let’s plan to connect. There is another western guy not far from us down in Ubon.
Wow! very cool! Thai pellet money is something i want to find too. i got to say, the last Sukhothai/pod duang video... sure looked like they planted that first find for you. I think you mentioned that in this video. I've tried metal detecting in SE Asia, but no luck. difficult to find a place to detect, and i don't know enough to set up for the beach. Great vid! Chok dee krap
Darren Croghan haha. No plants at all. But it was a known spot where Pod Duang had been found before. So we knew it was there. Just had to find it. Thanks for watching.
So sorry I didn’t see this comment until now. Something is wrong with my notifications. It isn’t a tour. I have lived in Thailand for 5 years now. These are friends or friends of friends.
I have connected with some friends up there who have taken me to privately owned fields. Freshly plowed rice (or any crop for that matter) fields are great if you can get permission. Also connecting with local communities and detecting some of the old forest land that isn’t national park is doable.
