Nice ring! You can tell you are getting to know your detector and getting experience and knowledge of the hobby, the quality and quantity of your finds are getting better and better! Thanks for sharing!
WooHoo! Congrats! You did the right thing with your first ring find and "what goes around, comes around". Very happy for you! GL & HH, my friend. Brian
Glad you're having such good luck ring finding. Whoop Whoop! And thanks for sharing your thought out loud about the scoops. You don't have to spend a fortune to enjoy the hobby. Great Video!
Thanks! Me too. Hahaha. I agree, you can get out there and hunt too for about $100. You'll make that up in change after a few months. :) Thanks for watching.
Congrads on your Gold ring, that is the moment all of us ( well most of us) live for when digging a find! Great Hunt! Really dig your videos! Thanks for posting them!
All tides matter. Ring Ring Ring Ring! 4 Rings! Brought a beautiful smile to your face. It may be a kid's ring for the 5th one. Great hunt and great finds. Put Sir Ringsalot to the test.
Hey, She Detector....loved the video! Nice finds, ESPECIALLY THE RINGS! NICCCEEEEEE!...Lololol! You out there hunting them beaches makes me want to travel to some beaches and detect! Thumbs up lady! Keep the vids coming, I love them! Peace to you and yours and HHing! :-)
Thank you! Hahaha, I agree, they sure are pretty aren't they? :D Oh yes, you should schedule in some beach time for sure. :D Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Great channel, just subscribed. I bought my son and I the Minelab 705 and 505 this week. We are located in North Florida, cant wait to start this weekend.
Thank you! And thanks for subbing and watching! :D That's great! I've not used them myself but Minelab has wonderful machines! I hope you found something amazing! :D
Hahaha. You're telling me. I'm STILL looking for ring number one of the year. I can't believe it! :( I'll be heading to Clearwater Beach soon I think. Might try some night hunting. :)
Lol! That's what I said. Hahaha. Thank you! And thanks for watching! Oh that's awesome! I'm still catching up on watching videos. I'll get to yours eventually. Hahaha!
That is definitely an adjustable ring, I have one exactly the same. And I think you're right about it having something on it that broke off at some point.
You're in my area! I'm glad I found your channel! I'm going to be getting the equinox 800 in the next few weeks and plan on staying in the gulf stretch of pinellas. Nice find!
Love that giggly happy smile! You hottie you. Congrats! Your now in the upper league I'd say. Really happy for you! I'd get back and hit all those trees asap now that every guy in your area is going to be hitting them. If I was there I'd be taking a day or 2 off work to clean all those roots out. Good luck and Prosperous Hunting next time! ;)
:D Hahahaha! Thank you! Yea, I think I'm finally getting there huh? I know right? I wonder how many rings were hiding by other trees. Guess I'll never know. I'll keep hitting them though! :D
Woo hooo! #4 and maybe #5! That Ringer of yers is really panning out! Oh yeah, now I think maybe your good luck goddess deserves honorable mention in a video, she appears to be attentively on the job as I recalled mine! :D She came into play today as I was in the shower when my truck parts order showed up so they didn't leave it, I made a call and they came back with it! Now is that good luck or what? Stupid truck won't start when it's high humidity or raining so major tune-up time. Congrats on the ring/s and on yet another fine production.
WOO indeed! :D I'm so happy to be finding these awesome rings. :D Hahaha, yea, I'll have to give her a shout out for sure! Oh that's awesome that they went back. They don't usually do that! Good job! Good luck on your tune-up! Thank you! And thanks for watching. :D
YW and TY too. As you get more and more good stuff it will get easier to look back and laugh at the giant growly fork hole from your earliest vids. That was an epic dig and one of my all time favorite youtube moments. Grrrrr She says, grrrrrr. I liked it a lot. I might go back to find it, unlike it, just so I can like it again!
Naaa, you could no more have left it than you could have quit breathing, your tenacity and curiosity wouldn't allow it. I'm pretty sure there will be the occasional one in the future too, every now and then a tricky signal will intrigue you and the excavation will commence. Your digging muscles must be stronger now(1 year later) too so I bet a similar hole would be easier for you. Signed- Your #1 fan, patiently awaiting the next fine ring, big growly crater, and anything in-between.
Your a lovely person saying that people buy what they can afford, And your scoop for around the trees is ideal, Palm trees don't have a root system like the ones we have in the UK. ;-)
Thanks! Yea, and while detecting can be expensive, it doesn't have to be! :D Oh you're lucky then. The roots can be annoying but luckily they don't go very deep here. :)
Rule of thumb in the UK, metal detecting under old treas like oaks you often find money and such. This is in the past people use to rest under them and take shelter. This is when money slipped out of their pockets, plus in the past people use to bury things near a tree and the tree also acted as a landmark. Love watching your videos :)
I understand why! Not sure why I didn't used to hunt the trees before. :/ That makes sense to burry something near a tree. Maybe I'll find treasure one day! Hahaha. Thank you for watching!
The weird little "is it a ring"? yes it is. Its an adjustable junker. Probably had some little bling stone or flower on the top of it. Usually they're not worth much, but sometimes you'll find them made of silver. So keep a look out. Some nice finds down there. If you want to hunt the islands, you need to check underwater around where the boats usually park. Too many folks lathered in suntan oil drop stuff over board, and simply assume its lost. Your excalibur should have no problems finding the goodies. Love your channel, I'm new here, but it is good to see more women getting involved in the hobby. Bob in Germany
I've never watched another detecting channel . But was looking for something for my 10 year old and I to do. Came across your channel and love it. To be honest I lived in Valrico and used to toss tons of pennies at the beach in hopes someone would someday find them. That's 17 years ago , but it makes one wonder 😄
Sorry for the late response, I'm catching up! Hehehe. Well I'm glad you found my channel. Thanks for watching! :D Hahaha, that's great that you did that. I bet you made someone's day finding all those coins. Hahaha.
She Detector ah heck with the thousands of comments you get per day I consider myself flattered that you found the time to read mine. I'm a creator as well with a portion of your following and I already know how hard it is . Be well and keep up these great videos!
Pretty sure that ring that's adjustable is a toe ring. And...a little tip for using the camera for close-ups, don't zoom in that's only for zooming in on things far away. To get the camera to focus on things very close up make sure you are blocking all of the surrounding area that's in frame so the camera has no choice but to focus on what is in your hand.
Yea? I guess it could be. I hadn't thought about that. Oh! Hahaha, yea that makes sense. The thing kept focusing on the junk behind my hand instead of the ring. Hahaha.
congrats on the ring finds, that's awesome. sure brings a big smile to your face. the hand scoop, ive use one like that since 1995 when I was in my 30s, glad you have showed me the t-rex scoop and I ordered one from gold diggers, in my 50s now my knees and back will thank you this summers hunts at myrtle beach and the grand strand. and thank you for the great video. I enjoyed it and keep smiling.
I really liked that Raptor handle of yours - I have an aluminum scoop that is really heavy duty and never liked how it was to pull the scoop with a full load of sand out of the soup and I just opened my box from Amazon today and voila! My own Raptor handle! Thanks for pointing me to that - much appreciated... Will document the install on my channel and then give it the smoke test next month near Bodega Bay - bit of a drive from my place in the Sierra Nevadas! Keep up the good work and we love your videos!
Oh yes, it's a must with that wet, sucking sand for sure. :) Yey for your new handle! oh awesome. I'm sure you'll love it. Make sure to get those screws nice and tight! Thank you! And thanks for watching.
Charles Garrett says in his books to hunt within 10’-15’ of trees if you’re dirt-diggin’, so I suppose it’s 8’-10’ on the beach! I mentioned you at Kellyco when I got my 8” Rex like yours, so they gave me 10% off. Or was it 5% for you and 5% for Hoover Boys combined? LOL Always enjoy your videos. Thanks
Does he now? I can see why! Hahaha. Hey that's great! :D They are good people for sure. :D Hahaha, maybe it was 5 & 5. :D Thank you! And thanks for watching!
We bought the Coin Hunting book and I just finished reading it. There's 3 sand beaches near where we live back home on a fresh-water lake, so we'll try it out. It was 93 there today in TN., and 83 here, so lots cooler here in FLA.
Hi She Congratulations again, really pleased to see your luck changing, Sir Ringsalot is well named seeing as how it keeps finding you rings! Your rings are just like buses, you wait for ages to get one and then four all come at once hahaha fantastic, whatever you do, dont change your settings, they seem to work perfectly for you in that area, methinks you should stick to the beach from now on and ignore the island part. Im hoping to get down to a beach this weekend too, if i do i'll start to upload a video seeing as how I just got a cool underwater camera, just wrong time of year where i am, even if i did do scuba diving. anyway all the best GL+HH
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Hahaha, me too. :D I agree, it was a very fitting name for sure! That's too funny. Lol! Yea, I think I agree with you there! Oh that's great. Let me know once it's loaded. I'll check it out for sure. :D Yea, it's starting to cool down now. The summer is coming to an end. :(
Dang! You are finding more rings in a couple months than I have found in years. Didn't you find numbers 2 and three by trees also? Maybe you should call Ringer "Finds rings by trees a lot." Congratulations on some great hunts.
Hahaha! Well don't worry, you will find yours too. It's just a matter of time. Watch, I won't find anymore for months. Hahaha. Yes and no. Number 2 was about 20 feet from some trees, number 3 was right by a tree also. :) Lol! That's a great name too! Hahaha. Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Congrats on the ring(s). The one looks like it was cut. It may be silver. Trees are an excellent place to look around. People will put their valuables next to them so they can find them but often forget. Thanks for showing the proper way to swing a coil ... it isn't a race and you will cover a more accurate area. Have fun!
Lol!!! Me too! I'm so proud already of the new addition to the family. Ringer is pulling more weight than Beaker or Squeaker. Lol. Hahaha, yea, maybe they will one day! You never know. :D
The silver ring appears to be part of a multi ring set, where each ring fits into each other to make a beautiful group of rings together as one, possibly 3 or 4 or more bands together.
Oh yea, it could be. I hadn't thought about that. I checked around the area and didn't find any others but they could be there somewhere. You never know!
You should get rid of the stock earmuffs and swap out for something more comfortable.I gutted the stock speakers and wire and modded it to fit some Pro Ears. Did not cut the wire just made slots to pull out and put in new set. Much better than the stock yellows
Yea, I've heard the Ghost ones are really nice. :) Oh that's cool. My machine is still under warranty so I won't be cutting anything just yet. Maybe in the future though. :D
You should get the GemOro Auracle Electronic Gold and Platinum Tester, its the one I use ! On Ebay for $399.00, very easy to use and very accurate ........ I have been Treasure hunting for 15 years and have many testers, this is one of the best ones out there ! I started on RU-vid 18 months ago ! .................. Nice hunt , well done and good luck !
Finding rings becoming a habit now eh? Awesome, i really enjoy watching you find cool stuff and specially how excited you get :) Maybe hubby starts joining the hunt with the mx sports soon :) Congratulations on gold #2, ring #4 (5?) if that last one is a ring. For a moment it looked like a key ring, key chain to me.
Hahahaha, I sure hope so! :D Thank you! And thanks for watching! Yea, I keep trying to get him to hunt with me but he's worried about finding more rings then me. Hahaha! Ye, I'm still not sure if it's a ring or not. It's round and has a hole so I think I'll call it a ring for now. Lol!
Congrats on the gold rings. The CZ-21 is a great machine when you use it in the water but it gets heavy swinging it on the beach. I would stick to hunting the main beaches instead of those islands. HH & GL.
Another great hunt and video. Do you ever get an trouble from others at the islands? For your safety I pray you don't go by your self to the islands? Be safe!!
Thank you! And thanks for watching! No I haven't. You are allowed to hunt them so that's good. Plus I don't hunt all day. I usually stop after 2 hours before it gets super crowed so I'm not bugging anyone. Oh no, I always have the hubby with me. Better safe than sorry. :D
I very much enjoyed watching your video. You had a great find with that gold ring near the tree! Well done! I hope you will have continued success with your future hunts! Isn't metal detecting just fabulous? GL and HH Mike
Thank you! And thank you for watching. :D I know, I still can't believe it! Hahaha. I sure hope I keep up this lucky streak too. :D It sure is! You really never know what you'll find!
Those two awesome rings looks so real. I found a ring in a ring box next to a palm tree, it was silver but what a crazy find. Is someone planting rings next to palm trees?..............
Nice hunt n congrats on the gold, very nice, don't go looking for whoever lost rings, keep them, u earned them. I haven't had a chance to go hunt, had an accident with a radiator cap n scalded my right hand, like if the pain wasn't bad enough, the burn unit in Galveston had to scrape the skin off my hand n thought I was going to pass out from the pain, u can bet I will stay away from pressurized radiator caps from now on, thanks for sharing...
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Oh I won't! Not this time! Hahaha. Oh my gosh! That's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you heal quickly and are able to get back out there.
I am so happy you found some gold rings after your ring return. Good Deeds get rewarded. 3 times fold. You should be finding the third gold ring soon. The day after my class ring return I got 3 rings. Just Stainless Steel, nothing fancy. I can't wait to find my first gold ring. This is my first year in the hobby. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Wish me luck.
Thanks! Me too! Hahaha. I agree with you there. :) That's awesome! Good for you. :D Stainless is still a nice ring. :D You'll find it one day, when you least expect too. ;) Good luck to you!
I just might start hunting near trees, that is one beautiful ring. I struck gold yesterday too bit my ring only weighs 0.33g. Its gold nontheless. I'm surprised I was able to detect it with the DFX. Of course with the excal you dont look for gold, gold looks for you. By the way, over in coastal Southern California we call 78° the middle of summer. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Hahaha, you totally should! Just not my trees. Stay away! Hehehe. Thank you! Hey! That's awesome! Good job. :) I agree, gold is gold regardless of how heavy or light it is. Hahaha yes, the Excal is a magnet it seems. :D Lol! Well 78 air temp is very nice, 78 water temp is chilly. Lol! Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Your there girl!you are a red blooded metal detecting machine! great finds.its so cool to have seen where you were with a detector a while ago and to see you finding the good stuff now.nice job.gl&stay safe
Thank you! And thanks for watching! I didn't say it in the video because I was worried about someone trying to claim it. The most recent gold ring was 14k though. :D
See the more you use it the better you get. The islands you need to just sit back and watch where the people play, the depth of water they're in. Most rings I find are in the water just above the waste . Congrats on the rings
Right you are! :D Good thinking, I can definitely do that! :D I've been thinking about checking out the grassy areas too. People tend to float over that stuff instead of putting their feet in it. Thank you! And thanks for watching!
So what are those gold rings marked at? I'm guessing 10K for the CZ Diamond ring and 14K for the men's pinkie ring. Good to see you find gold ! Keep @ it and HH !!
Mostly cause of years and years of detecting like you said.. They generally put CZ is 10K or under. Rings with real diamonds are usually 14k+ Rich guys with pinkie rings makes sense they are at least 14k.. That's how I knew :D keep @ it and HH !!
Thank you! It's the Deluxe Beach Pouch by The Gold Digger Metal Detectors. Here's the link: www.thegolddigger.com/product/gold-digger-deluxe-beach-pouch-w-zippers/?v=7516fd43adaa I usually only get out once a weekend. I don't really hunt land very much. I prefer beach hunting. But Occasionally I'll do a land hunt. :D Thanks for watching!
Just a note...jewelers in an area sell many identical rings. OK... so if someone else bought an identical ring and guesses the size and has pic's they may contact you and try to claim it. It is 95% going to be 14K. So I'd post a permanent sentence in your description in caps that if any ring you find without a personal inscription will not be returned if you are contacted! .. my opinion :)
Awesome- Ring #4- wish I could get my wife interested in the hobby. I've only found two so far, and I'm hoping to do better. It's a 3 hr. drive to the beach here in Texas so not too much sand searching going on. :(
Thanks! :D Yea, it could be hard especially is she's an indoor kind of gal. :) I'm sure you'll find more. They are out there that's for sure! :D Oh bummer on that. A long drive like that doesn't make it easy to hunt the beaches. :(
Good choice of name for the Excal, and great success! Congrats! Starting to reap good benefits of your efforts! So glad for you! My wife finally watched this video, over my shoulder, and said, OK, Honey; let's go metal detecting. Thanks! :-)
Thank you! And thanks for watching! Lol! That's great that you two are getting out there! I'm glad I was able to help. You never know what you're going to find! :D Good luck!
You shook me all night long. Now that's a proper background song. Little history just for the fun. Clarent was the sword pulled from the stone whereas the magical sword Excalibur was given to Arthur by the Lady in the Lake. Two different swords but then it depends if you're referencing Post-Vulgate Cycle or not. How useless is this information :D I'd rather just comment on the AC/DC intro track ;)
Hahahaha! Ah yes, not many people seem to know that story. Most people think Excalibur was the sword in the stone. Since that's what most think, that's what I went with. Hahaha! Not useless at all! :D
She Detector I myself honestly didn't know up to a few months ago when I visited my sister in England, she lives in the area where most of legend of played out. But the name you chose is perfect :) Thanks for reply, not a lot of people take the time :) Happy hunting.
What is the one item you have found that is worth the most money? Also have you ever tried to travel outside the US to do detecting? I am curious how many WWII relics could be found in the South Pacific Islands.
I once found a men's platinum webbing band. Valued at about $1,000. :O I returned it to the owner though. Right thing to do. :) Yea, I've detected in Bimini Bahamas this past July. It was great but I didn't find anything amazing, not even coins. :( That's a great question, probably a lot I imagine.
About 30 years ago pull tabs were changed so that the tab stays on the can, but people still pull them off. :p I found a ring at work in a box that was shipped to us. I contacted the sender but no one claimed the ring.
Hey hello there from Ireland Wish i was sat on your boat drinking a pint of cold guinnis You havent felt cold till youve been te Ireland in the winter!!! Nice ring.Im looking for that pot of gold but those damn Leprahauns keep moving it!
Hi all the way in Ireland! Hahaha! Yea I bet. I know it gets pretty cold over there but I've never experienced it. Hehehe. Thank you! Lol! You're telling me! I always end up digging to China looking for what I think is gold and it turns out to be a fork! Darn leprechauns!
Great Find Girl , I still enjoy watching your video's and kind of amazed how you use that T- Rex Scoop, I'm 6' 4" and over 250 lbs. and I find that, 'that T-Rex is way to heavy to lug around the beach...
Thank you! And thanks for watching! It is a bit heavy but I never carry it off the ground. Rex is always dragging behind me. Lol. Plus, I like the weight in the water. I chuck him over the edge of the boat and he sinks right to the bottom. I don't have to worry about him floating away. Even the waves can't move him much. The wood handle floats which makes him easy to locate too. :D
Nice haul! Too bad gold and aluminum are so close when detecting. Dreams of gold often result in pull tab reality. Rats! What's your favorite pinpointer these days?
Thank you! I agree, it's a bit of a pain! Lol, I've never heard if put that way before! I love the Land or Sea pin pointer. It's great at the beach and is actually cheaper than the Garrett Carrot!
