You’ll never forget that day. Made me smile the way you kept looking around every time you found one, just like Gollum. Making sure that no one will take them. Well done.
though I had some problem with sea water It also ru-vid.comUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
My brother and myself were lucky enough to find a scattered hoard of George 3rd guineas. Long time ago now , bk in the early 2000s My brother found the first, I thought he was winding me up with one of those brass gaming peices until I had a proper look ... A great feeling, well done m8 , 👍👍 Was a 2 day club dig , following day just a few yards away a club member found a hoard of Charles 1st half crowns .. Unbelievable considering everyone came over to see our gold coins and spent the rest of the 1st day , what was left of it , searching around and around that area until dark. How the silvers were missed is unbelievable, there were even footprints above the ground from where they were found from the day before. I can only imagine people were rushing, not focusing, whatever reason its still the craziest weekend digs ive ever been on .
Looks like you got a good buddy there that loves you which is worth more than all the gold in the world. Great finds. Congratulations. Give your buddy a hug for me.
@@alllivedigsmetaldetecting7977 Gotta be honest brother, I love dogs….but when he tried to eat one and was trampling the site, my ass was marching him back to the car or leashing em for a solid hour while I continued detecting that ENTIRE area!
Absolutely amazing. I detected for 20+ years and found some cool stuff, but never a gold coin! (Nice dig helper, too!) What a hotspot. Imagine how crushing a loss that must have been for the poor soul who lost those in the 18th century!
Awesome finds there that’s been a leather purse loss they have been camping or sitting having a meal or its fallen from a horse passing through the woods but it’s a awsome find 4 George the 3rd Guinness 22carrot gold couple of thousand pounds there mate good man 👍😊
Thank you my friend. Who knows how they were lost. That's the joy of detecting, the mystery which will almost always never be solved. Maybe a gentleman courting a lady on the sly in the woods and dropped his purse in the heat of the moment.we'll never know
I was just shaking my head in amazement for the whole thing good for you man awesome find !! To think those have been laying there for hundreds of years.........
I hope you went back and hunted the whole area. The earlier beeps were worth digging. I always dig around the msin targets moving in a spiral, making sure I didn't miss any other good targets.
Nicely Saved that man. Train the dog to find gold, it could have a smell to it like iron has! The dog was showing a lot of interest just in front of where you were digging where the thick old roots were, maybe the bottom of a long gone tree, after sniffing that gold coin. Those coins could have been pushed up closer to the surface by the tree roots, I would dig 12" deeper all around where you found the 4 coins and checkout where BUZ digs and sits he could be marking for you. Good luck!
Definitely worth a try mate. I have returned a couple of times and dug a large area to around 12 inches. Then wafted the coil over but no more coins to report Cheers for the comment
Great find mate I just bought my first metal detector today a garret ace 250 as when I'm away in my motorhome I'm going to have a nice beach walk detecting....
Amazing find, I dig here in Spanish colonial St Augustine Florida est 1565, I'm a deep woods hunter and have recovered 41 Spanish silvers oldest 1556, i dug 5 in the same hole 1556-1621, I could have done butt naked backflips out the woods. 4 golds I would have .... Well done my friend, well done. Do you remember where they hit on the Nox I dig a lot of British 1700s here as well, the Spanish cobs hit around 22 on the Nox. Thank you . and Congratulations on an amazing day digging.
@Victor Jackson NO most areas are off limits to digging anything I have permission from a land owner who owns 1000s and 1000s of acres between north Florida to the southern tip.
@Victor Jackson youtube has deleted my past two comments letting you know where you can follow me, as of today I will no longer be posting to youtube and deleting my videos for youtube and moving them to my Rumble. All I did was let you know where you can find me. FUCK YOU RU-vid THERES A NEW NETWORK IN TOWN AND THEY ALLOW FREEDOM OF SPEACH.
@@neil2905 not sure but I had to sell three of them for the landowner. I got £2050 . If you're after buying a race horse these are still sold in Guinea's at a value of £1.05p per guinea😂 I think 🤔
What a great video & the Gold Coin Gods were with you. I live in London and want to get into Metal detecting again. The last time I did it was like 25 years ago and looking to do it again, one of the main reasons I need to is to have some air time instead of a cramped flat, as well as having a cardiac arrest and heart damage the walking and hobby work hand in hand to help in not only physical health but also mental health. My biggest hurdle of course is the fact I can no longer work, so obtaining the gear needed will be a slight struggle and when I do manage to get a semi-decent detector, there is the massive hurdle of Bylaws etc and where ya can detect without breaking the Law. Not one part of the UK is free land anymore not even common land, and being in London it is like a trap. But again I felt so happy for you with that find as well as having the right area to do some decent detecting. I have subscribed to your channel. Good on you & that lovely dog & keep it up.
Thanks for the kind comment. I feel for you living in a big city. There are many advantages but I can walk out my house and be on one of my permissions in under five minutes . However, there are so many clubs/groups these days that get permission for you ,I'm sure you'll be able to get out there. Just get the best detector you can afford, maybe second hand would be best, and have a look on Facebook for metal detecting groups in your area. Good luck my friend
To good to be true. Unbelievable! All those coins fit in that box perfectly. After 4 coins you didn't look further? Looks fake but it was interesting. A metal detectors dream. Didn't fool me. Thanks.
Subbed! Loved this video! I sold my machine a few years ago and I’ve regretted it ever since. Getting a new one for my birthday and can’t wait to get back on it!
@@MetalDetectingDonna definitely worth a try. Been out today on mineralised land. Tried all programs but beach 1 was most stable. And still finds the tiny bits
