As always, loved the video sir! Wishing you a Merry Christmas! I think everyone needs a hunting partner like Gary hahaha. That quarter stick was hilarious.
The Machin Mills was not only a great find but in great shape. That's one still on the old colonial bucket list. I knocked off the Fugio Cent a few months back and I'm still thrilled over it. One day maybe this year I'll get some more new colonial coppers. I remember those old change purses from the 60's. My mother had an orange one.that eventually became mine
Merry Christmas, Those were some great hunts, Thanks for sharing,I've been a sub for a While now, but I don't know how I missed this one, Anyway I've been hunting the florida Tc beaches for Close to 30 years now, I purchase my, what I call, my beast, the garret ATX, after watching one of your videos, A while back, I'm primarily using the XP,D 2, now, Still learning it, but so far, pretty impressed with it, I've asked this question before, but would really like to hear your opinion, do You think with this latest technology, with These multi frequency, Machine's we're finally starting to narrow the gap On overall depth, Between pulse machines. and these new multi frequency machine's, ? Thanks again,🌲☃️🇺🇲👍
Great question! The new machines definitely punch down deep but PI machines have an edge in depth especially in rough conditions like conductive salt water and heavily mineralized/ironized dirt. What we need is the ability for a PI machine to discriminate between Ferris and non-ferrous at all depths. I was excited when I got the ATX but it only ID'd iron at very shallow depths. It will be a game changer when pi circuitry can truly discriminate
@@DetectorComparisons Hey thank you, I appreciate your reply to my question, I guess one of the deciding factors on getting that ATX, After watching your videos, Was price, compared to the minelab 5000, And it's slight ability to discriminate iron, Although it does work OK on shallow iron targets, with that grunting sound, It was never great, And only worked on the 11" coil, Where I mostly use the 20" coil to get those Really deep Targets. Hey I tried sending you a little Christmas time appreciation gift, But couldn't find any option to do so, Thanks again, and look forward to more videos, 👍☃️🌲🏝
