The item at 17:00 is WW1 trench art, its a little crucifix made out of a bullet. I found one recently on one of my own sites that looks almost identical.
Fun video! Thanks for including Jocelyn/ Relic Recoverist. I get a lot of sh*t for being a woman detectorist so it's nice to see her online and also nice to see her enthusiasm! We all just enjoy being out there!
If you get a nettle sting, rub it with a Dock Leaf which you will find growing nearby. I happened to watch this video for a second time, and can see Dock Leaves below and to the right of the nettles.
There are usually 'docs' leaves growing nearby nettles in the UK - in fact I can see there are some right in among those nettles and around about - squish up a leaf or two to get the juice and rub on the nettle sting, works to neutralise the sting a treat :)
Jocelyn seems like she'd be fun to hunt with..not jst cause she's cute but she actually apriciate the hobby and loves even the small stuff..lol..man I love these videos...I get all pumped up then I hobble out and swing my detector....so thanx for making such good content

That whole video , that Dawg never left you guys for one minute . That how obsessed they are for balls . Jocelyn had all the luck . Blew you away on the coin from , but she sure does love taking pictures of herself lol . It's been a long time since I last went to Shropshire . I used to go on Geological Trips . I took my Garret Carrot out yesterday . All I found was £1 thats no longer Spendable and 20p lol , among other lumps of Iron. I was under an apple tree too .
Good tour and fun to watch the finding of coins. It was nice of you to show us around even if you did miss out on a bunch of the coins. Those were indeed Muscovy ducks. They sure are the ugliest duck, but their eggs taste good.
Haha survived Detectival I had to camp there I survived hehe or was it because you had to meet us :) , Jocelyn already put up her video months ago , in uk a doc leaf will help nettle stings , I once fell into them as a kid ouch and crying are they like your poisen ivy? , always welcome here any time with us :) best wishes
One of my favorites on youtube is Aquachigger. He is more realistic than some on youtube. For instance he will hunt for most of the day and not find much. Hey, that is the way it mostly is some times. Especially in the south. Like to see more of aquachigger and Jocelyn (the "Relic Recoverist") do videos together. Fun to watch.
the brass threaded tube with wood inside found near the chicken coup is part of a chimney sweeping brush pole you could screw on more sections to extend the pole
WooHoo! Right on, Jocelyn! Congrats on your finds, especially that 1600s coin. So Cool. : ) I've been subbed to you for a couple years, but haven't gotten any notifications in a long time. I better go find out why, hu? That Beau is a funny guy. Hey, I Love your new dog. Lol! Oh, um, Hi, Beau. Where's your treasures? Next video, hu? You guys have a ton of fun. Wish I was there. : )
That piece you said might be pipe with the wood in it is a tool , like a yard tool or maybe a broom piece that had a wooden handle. Awesome on the coins, especially her 1600's!!
You both are fun to watch...plus I love watching the Garrett AT MAX in action. I’m loving my new AT MAX ! Detecting in England is at the top of my bucket list! Great finds! ~ Gypsy
Metal Detecting holidays; what a great idea! Especially with *PUBS* - Perfect! Sadly Pubs ARE now shutting early [except subsidised House of Commons bar] as supposed antivirus measure; just hope Gov don't let them go to the wall. It's by-the-by, but Jocelyn's purple hair colour & shading is gorgeous. 👍
the heavy brass item you found is from either a chimney cleaning rod or train cleaning rod ,they would screw into each other to extend the length of the rods .
The hooked iron piece embedded in pointed lead could possibly be a discarded garden "wall hook" for suspending plant containers? The lead is driven into a hole or crevice in the brickwork and "plugged" by hammering a tool to expand the lead and lock it in the hole.
Woohoo the last time I was this early chigger still had long hair and a bushy beard. Great video. Taking a break in the truck warming up cuz I've been out swinging that thing all day got a few clad but I'm setting the world's record in finding pull tabs so I know this spot hasn't been hunted out
The bullet looking find is a wall fixing for a pipe or something similar. The metal hook would go around the pipe and the other end would be hammered into the mortar of a wall.
Your toy car finds reminds me of the TV show "Detectorists" where the British guys find toy cars in the middle of nowhere while metal detecting! I'm seriously contemplating taking a trip to the UK to hunt.
At 21:00 minutes . That thing you found with a thread on 1 end and wood in the other, is brass . And it's part of those rods that screw together and get pushed up toilet drains to unblock the pipes . I found the same in one of my videos 😁
You should totally come to my city! Don't let the upscale restaurants and boutiques fool you, there was a historic people known as the junkies there are lots of relics lefts behind from their historic reign!
Great vid:) The spoon looks lik a 'caddy spoon for measuring tea; the long pieces of lead you both found are straps are used to stop a faulty roofing slate from slipping out, there should be a nail hole in one end.
Very nice. I love that you just happen to stay at a virgin site next to a castle loaded with coins. Wondering if you could have gotten permission at the neighbors? Great video!
Hi. The thing you found with the wood at one end was the end of a draining rod they come in about 1m lengths your end was the Mail end the other end would be a female end so that the rods can be screwed together to unblock a drainage pipe hope this helps
@Aquachigger at 20:28 the item you found is an old drain/chimney rods you found the end that joins them together they are brass keep up the great work love the videos
Damn Chigg, wish i'd have known you were close, I'd have popped up to see you. Whilst not a detectorist myself i love your vids and know a roman ford which to the best of my knowledge hasn't been detected. About 20 minutes from where you were!!!
The heavy brass round thing with treads on one end and the other end would be were a bamboo rod would go, what you have there is the end of a chimney sweeps rod and that would screw in to anther rod and so on there would be a chimney sweep brush on the first rod.
Jocelyn's nails are so ruined! :-) She was really kicking butt, especially with that trench art piece! "Gloves ar for sissies!" :-) Nice catch, Diesel! He resents being called Bob's nephew!
it appears they changed their minds and let you dig the sod. WTG. Joc has grown up so much since she began her video's. She is a pretty sharp gal. Awesome digger too. No gloves! Because that soil is so silky, and soft.
Interesting area would like to see what was found cleaned up at the end of the video, didn't get a good look at it but the pointed object may be an arrowhead hundreds of different styles were used over the years. Good luck, enjoyed the video!
TerraGermania dug up something like Joselyn's unknown piece (looks like a pepper). He said it was used to clasp Roman toga at neck. That could be your best find. "Gloves are for wimps", Oh Snap!
Nice video. I remember Jocelyns video of that hunt. So glad you enjoy our hospitality when you come to England. Your an ambassador for our hobby and always welcome. Looking forward to the rest of the videos.
Actually, there's the Jack Russell, the Russell and the Parson. They are not the same dog breed, but all started with the same guy who was a "parson" named John "Jack" Russell.
