Metal Detecting Old Clothesline & Dump!

I metal detected an old clothesline and small dumping area behind our 1907 house. The clothesline is in a picture from 1908. The dump is possibly from the 30s from what I've seen. I used my Garrett AT Pro metal detector and Excalibur shovel.

Hi Patty nice hunt!!! the Peters shotgun company was started in 1887 and sold to Remington in 1934.

Peters HV (high velocity) was a popular shotgun shell. The two you found date from about 1915 to 1930. The one with Made in USA is newer, mid 1920s.

The mystery part with the slightly off center pin is some type of hand tool. The pin was what held a wooden handle to the tool. Maybe a hoe or garden tool.

Peter’s 12 gauge high velocity shotgun shell. Around 40’s to late 50’s cause the paper isn’t there. Sometime in the mid 60’s they went to plastic bodies.

Sorry I missed your premiere. Had a migraine or sinus headache coming on and needed to lay down. Took my medicine so waiting for it to kick in. Some interesting brass you pulled out of there. Do you have a sniper coil?
