As a metal drummer for your reaction to Mori is pretty awesome, considering this is not exactly the type of genre of singer you are most inclined to lean towards to. As a Morinatic pretty stoked to see you enjoy her performance, many more to discover with her if so inclined.
Morissette has mastered singing Secret Love Song to such extent that even members of Little Mix and songwriter Jason Derulo were awed by her brilliant rendition of SLS in the 2017 Asia Song Festival held in South Korea. Jade Thirlwall actually posted a video of her and other members of Little Mix excitedly watching on RU-vid Morissette's performance in the said Festival. Someone could even be heard exclaiming "Jesus" as she was hitting the high notes. Also awed were the organizers of the event- so much so that they invited her to represent the Philippines again in the 2018 ASF, earning Morissette the distinction of being the first and only artist to have been invited to perform in the prestigious Festival for two years in a row. I really appreciate you telling us that you have watched two other videos of morissette but forgot to record your reaction. It tells me that this reaction is still as genuine as your first reaction video of hers. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are other videos titled "first time listening..." but their reaction don't really seem like it's their first time watching the video. That sentence nailed it: "Her voice just got a direct line to my emotions". It's so true for many many people who hear her sing, you are not alone dude. :) I'm usually a pretty cold guy with my emotions in check, but her voice is just something else dude. It's nothing i have ever heard in my life and as musicians we hear a lot of talented voices. Her voice though is just in a whole different ballpark. There are legendary singers, then there is Morissette Amon. I have thought a lot about how to describe her voice but it's almost impossible to describe the feeling i get when i hear her sing. The one thing that instantly popped into my mind when i heard her sing for the very first time was: "This is probably as close as we get in real life to what the fables of a Sirens voice would sound like."
