People used to make fun of the story in this game but each passing year proves it right again and again. Trully on par with MGS2 on "It was supposed to be a warning not a manual!" scale.
I genuinely love the Mistral fight, especially the moment her hair becomes undone and messy, something about it gives me that "Fuck my image, fighting you is too fun to care." vibe
The best part of this game is at Monsoon's fight, when Jack finally flips the switch. It's terrifying and beautiful at the same time. He stopped lying to himself and embraced his evil. Whenever I hit the ripper mode, my hairs stood up with his snarky evil laugh. Damn, I got to play it again.
This might be a hot take, but I think this game has a better "do you feel like a hero" moment than Spec Ops: The Line Mainly because the protagonist says "you know what? NO" and proceeds to commit war crimes harder for the rest of the game.
@@TheDinohunter2000 this game has the lines “well if it isn’t saucy jack” and “WE ARE CONTROLLED BY MEMES” Do you expect the ninja cyborg not to have a cringy voice?
@@justanormalguy5496 It's more like, he has a perfectly normal voice, then he was told "Now sound like a tryhard!" and he made this voice. And the laugh, man!
@@ALJ9000 probably alluding to one of two things: 1.) Alinity and her abuse to her cat 2.) The fact that Dogs tend to be "disposable" under white women (at least I think).
Can confirm, first thing I did when I bought MGR was to see if you really couldn't progress. Can't blame them, it isn't obvious you can scale the wall via Ninja Run. You wouldn't think sprinting into the wall would be the answer either
@@kyotanaka920 But you do parkour moves like that in the Metal Gear Ray level, specifically when you're running to the 2nd phase arena where you just hop up and climb a wall. Or am I thinking of a different level?
@@461Dragonman The stairs that are required to progress you can cut down is immediately the next level, the very start of it. While the first level teaches you how to use Ninja Run, you wouldn't think it would let you scale walls higher than what you jump. Normally in situations like this, sprinting into said wall is the last thing you'd expect to work because of how high it is.
Watch Max0r’s DMC5 videos and you’ll understand ALL of the Vergil references in the Metal Gear Ray scene. Also, I’m part normie, who is this “‘most toxic gamer of all” that Max0r makes references to in codec calls?
That would be LowTierGod. He talks shit about practically anyone who isn't him, and mostly operates in the fighting game genre and it's subgenres. You can find him playing Smash or Street Fighter, maybe also Tekken.
I recommend watching the "Metal gear rising hypercut Political unrest simulator" by Jimothy Ross, it has max0r in it for part one and duke nukem's va in part 2, it has the same type of humor as max0r but i think it is even better than max0r's video, it is great!
10:10 The nod to "Snake? SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE" From Warframe is the most unexpected part of this video for me...and that saying something talking about Max0r
Man. Revengeance is a painful enjoyment. Such an amazing game and we will never get a sequel. When people say its the best Metal Gear game and are joking but they aren't its serious Genius Kojumbo giga propaganda.
Context on Genshin if you want to play it. While it is Gatcha, paying money is no more than a fast track to get characters. You can still get good characters without ever paying a single cent. So don't worry, you can enjoy the game without murdering your wallet.
Anyone else sad this game got popular again AFTER the final smash dlc was released, could've had Raiden as a playable character. And he'll maybe even Sam as a skin
that joke of raiden stoping his mission to play fortnite is now technically canon as he is now a skin of course its his mgs2 version with no bulge but hey at least the joke payed off thanks max0r
old oneliners - ever thought of becoming a farmer? here is couple of acres. modern oneliners - Im about to level up and you look like just enough XP. the new is obviously better.
if you worry about "gacha" element in Genshin - don't be it is absolutely irrelevant to finishing the game (as of now) and only matters if you plan to stick with the game for months By itself, it can give really nice story, great music and several weeks worth of chill exploration, beautiful scenic places and nice chill quests
Who was the guy you called "The most toxic gamer of all"? As I don't frequently watch that type of creator/streamer, he is a bit of an unknown to me. (Edit) Never mind. Found out it's low tier god.
As a two year , daily, f2p genshin player i would Recommend playing but soon you will love it but also hate it which is every genshin player but we still play it
You should try Genshin Impact it's a very good game, I've tried many gachas and I've played about 500 hours of Genshin and my opinion is that the gacha part of the game doesn't have a drastic impact on your ability to finish and enjoy the game, the only thing I couldn't really properly finish are the last 2 levels of the final challenge dungeon ( "The Abyss" I think ) but that's just an extra to farm some more currency, you can own all of the rest of the game. It's a bit sad that you can't realistically get all of the characters you want (expecially 5 stars) without paying, but the game gets constantly updated and new characters that are relatively easy to get are added so you have a very wide cast of characters to choose from anyway and the best part of the game are exploration and fighting, which there is plenty of
Should you start playing Genshin, take your time, explore and enjoy the world. The end game of Genshin isn't really that enjoyable, an endless grind for rng based equipment (very very very bad rng) just to fill the battle-pass with new content roughly every six weeks. I played since day one and I can assure you that you'll have fub for quite some time. I stopped playing a while after it's anniversary because of burn out, content drought and dissatisfaction with the company and how they treat their player base. The gacha system isn't the worst but also not the best out there. You can play for quite some time before it's really necessary though I have to say that being a complete F2P player can be hard because if the low amount of gacha currency you can earn. It's better to see it as a subscription game with the option to be completely F2P because you'll probably reach a wall at some point.
Trust me, you don’t want to play Genshin. It isn’t a bad game, it just pure cancer in Gacha. But the game is super addictive so as the Gacha. So I’ll not recommend it.
