About Raiden being able to shoot one handed while naked: There's a technique called "inverse kinematics" in 3D animation used to pin a characters' bone to a specific location independant of their animations. This is used in MGS2 while someone is on stairs, the game automatically snaps their feet to nearest step while maintaining realistic pose for their legs. I believe inverse kinematics is also used during Arsenal Gear segment to pin Raiden's left hand to his pelvis which would override all the keyframes for his left arm. So what we're seeing could just be his regular shooting animation with left arm disabled and not a separate animation devs intentionally made.
@32:08 Just a correction here, Arsenal Gear missed the Twin Towers, you can even see in that screenshot, Arsenal's trajectory came from the south bank. Fun extra detail is that if you load up The Documents of MGS2, you can load that scene in better detail and free cam around it to see how much detail they originally put into it which was sadly not seen in the final game.

31:06 dunno, looks pretty small for me... compared to that ray that is the same size as the production models, that thing should not store 25 of them but also the arena you were before and looked basically endless, arsenal gear keeps giving points to the VR theory lol
I think that the platform where you fight the Rays is (a reference) from MGS Integral's photo shoot mode, where you can take snapshots of Mei Ling and Naomi's 3D models that aren't used in the base game.
Ocelot's comment on not trusting a frenchmen reminds me of how he intentionally mispronounced Les Enfante Terribles in MGSV Phantom Pain and mentioning how he was never fond of the French.

I even looked for the timeline placement and it was stated as having no official placement in time. Also my original statement was my own head cannon. the games came out during the same era taking place in basically New York. I thought it was just a fun idea. I didn’t need an “uhm akshually ☝🏻🤓”.
