Nice. Now imagine if they made an remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake on a modern day console? I wish they did that first since Konami can present it as their own original piece since many have not played Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
Wheres the logic in that lol? They're trying to get a new generation into these games, many younger people don't want to play that not to mention the gameplay is dated so its not "timeless" @@Lakata125
@@Cirerin Yep. A remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake would be an awesome way to get younger people to join the MGS series. It would allow players to play as an Rookie Solid Snake (Metal Gear) and an Experienced Solid Snake (Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake). It could be an awesome coming of age game and show a younger generation why fans like Solid Snake. Also, show us the battle between Solid Snake and Venom Snake, and later Big Boss.

this was my first mgs game and it was absolutely amazing. seeing it again with THESE graphics lets me in shock, just incredible. now i want to know how Volgin, the Shagohod, the Cobra Unit, the BOSS, and of course OCELOT will look.
I played all MGS from ps1. My favourite was no 2 sons of liberty and no 4 Guns of the patriots. So many intense experiences, like when I rescued otacons sister from the underwater lab and then she gets knifed by vamps crossing on the sea level. And the first separate short mission on no.2 with the Russian soldiers when you infiltrate the ship to take photos of metal gear🤯 Need a new one Hideo Kojima.
I didn’t hear it was gonna be on unreal 5 until today, that’s so so so good to hear. Just for the master collection, nearly thru MGS then onto 2 and 3. I can’t fucking wait for this delta
It will probablly just be like a REmake, it will be the same game with new generation graphics and improved gameplay and maybe it will have some DLC costumes, but other than that, it will be fantastic
It would be cool if they were creative enough to make a new franchise instead of continuing to beat a dead horse. Like, I get it. Games used to be good. But maybe they're not good anymore because of creative bankruptcy? Res evil 4 is awesome, but I alreayd played it. Make something new y'know? All these remakes are bittersweet.
I'm afraid they changed naked snake's iconic facial features.. which were very good. I'm pretty sure, so that it looks and fits with the soulless snake from Phantom Pain...
It looks like it's using mgsv's gameplay mechanics with new animations. That's great, but I feel like it'll make the game WAY too easy unless they alter the environments to be a bit more open
I don't know man.. MGS5 is a 9 year old game. I expected more from a remake. Don't get me wrong MGS5 is still a good looking game but the video game industry developed so much further since.
Cant wait to see how Sony of America is going to ruin this one. Lol. Rip Boss, Eva, innuendos and shirtless action sequences with Jack. "A re-imagined retelling for a modern audience" . The world "remake" is becoming a caution sign.
id be disappointed if sony's heavy hand didn't fk up everything. Just look at silent hills 2: there is a GOOD REASON why they aren't showing Maria in the trailer. Whats truly sad about that is when they totally jihad Maria and not get her appearance right that ruins Jame's story. Like she is *literally* dressed that way for a reason that is 110% relevant to the plot. Its a classic everyone loves for a reason worldwide.
So is this FOX engine or..? Also I'm not so sure this may fly too high without Kojima at the helm. I mean it could be Okay but this is another classic game loved by 10s of millions that is about to be remade in 2023. Lots of IFs.
It'll be alright if they just give it modern graphics and stay true to the original. If they change the gameplay at all it will probably ruin it. ...That being said, it's likely that it won't live up to the hype.
I hope they give it more color and make it more artsy like the OG was. I love the graphics. They just need to work on the colors, grayscale, and lighting to make it look like I’m playing a game based in the 60s. Like the OG. I’ll be set.
I kinda hope they remake them in the order they took place in the timeline. So if this is successful, I hope they make Peace Walker next. Then maybe they can add more to MGSV and have Solid Snake show up and fight Venom Snake.
I have a gargantuan bad feeling about this game been an absolutely half arsed effort of a remake, Konami just don’t put that Kojima magic in there games, without Kojima, Konami haven’t got a clue what they’re doing with the MGS series
I wonder if it’s a simultaneous release or if it will release on anniversary console first. Would be cool to have small anniversary Easter egg on PlayStation for anniversary of MGS3.
I think this looks better than the Pachislot!!! Hopefully they will remake all MGS games even MG. Or maybe as well the same treatment to Castlevania. I definitely will pay for seen those old games with the current gen graphics
Imagine expending millions developing the fox engine...using it just for MG and winning eleven and then switching to unreal after firing the guy and the team that MADE the fucking franchise that kept Konami relevant
