MGS 1 music: his health bar says “Liquid” MGS 2 music: his health bar says “Liquid Ocelot” MGS 3 music: his health bar says “Ocelot” You’re literally beating Ocelot back into his normal self
@Haruno Cáleon the ''you're pretty good'' at the end, is because he was always "Revolver Ocelot" during the entire MGS4 game's story. Apparently it was just a trick to fool the Patriots AI so he could develop his plan !
@@maxnereth9665 . This version of Solidus also married an alternate version of Mei Ling, and had her replace their Mei Ling to manipulate Philanthropy into merging the various parallel universes by destroying the Gurlugon. He later tries to stop Snake, eventually resorting to trapping him in the body of a young, blond man and experiencing various disturbing scenarios. >>>> He later tries to stop Snake, eventually resorting to trapping him in the body of a young, blond man and experiencing various disturbing scenarios. >>>>>>>>>>>>> trapping him in the body of a young, blond man and experiencing various disturbing scenarios.
Forget the only hetero Snake. If he were, he’d probably be the only hetero character in this game series. I still sincerely doubt that he and Otacon never kissed tho
It started raining outside my window when Ocelot died. But the rain only lasted for a few minutes. Guess the sorrow was there for his son same as he was there for the Boss.
I mean given the state of Shadow Moses Island it could be relatively assumed that it was probably winter if anything. Weather like that isn't a usual event in Alaska or the Fox Archipelago until the cold months of the year. Also in Eastern Europe most of the civilians and Eva's soldiers are shown wearing winter clothing. Unless long trench coats, jackets, leather gloves, and fur caps are actually just everyday street clothing in Eastern Europe.
This was hands down the best conclusion of any video game series. I didn’t play the metal gear games as they came out but I watched my uncle play them all as a kid and I loved them. I wasn’t very good at them until 4 came out and by then I had beat them all. Then I played this one and it was just perfect. This game was perfect. Even the obnoxiously long cut scenes. Perfect conclusion and perfect game.
I feel the love in this comment. I feel the same way dude, this is a fantastic series without a doubt. I actually used to watch my father play MGS2 all the time when i was a kid. Now i have beat both 2 and 4 multiple times. This is definitely a series that will stick with me to the end.
GFreeman515 for real man. Whenever I hear the music or anything from these games I just have a great sense of the world which they created. The story is convoluted as fuck but it’s so good. The way it was all written over the 20 or so years was amazing
How curious.... i also watched my uncle play MGS from 1 to 4, and then I've played them (i though i was the only who saw is uncle playing PlayStation when was a kid xD)
Their fight was great, no issues in terms of arrangement, etc., but the best conclusion I'd call the final scene with Naked Snake, Zero and Solid Snake, aka "Father and son". "So live your life, whatever time you have left, not as a snake, but as a man". "The world would be better off without snakes". Goddamn...
Ocelot should be the Big Boss in all of this. He lived through all the shenanigans of all the Snakes and survived to become a Snake himself. Live by the snake, die by the Snake.
I imagine it would be the section where they start to wear themselves down and it reflects in their gameplay how they're getting tired but still continue. Although it would be a bit odd since Venom never fought Ocelot.
@@mr.l3992 I imagine him having two characters sets in one and you can't control when does he's becoming only Ocelot and when does he's becoming only Liquid. While being Ocelot he could use his double SAA shooting in front of him and if he shoots in the air the bullet will go and touch randomly a challenger.
my kid loves mgs since i showed it to him when he was like 10 i remember he played with his toys with this music as i played the conclusion of mgs4 it was cute and cool at the same time xD
I play this song when I feel bad(wether it’s a bad mood, or a hangover, or a sickness). I immediately feel strong again afterwards and ready to fight on the top of a building with somebody that shares other ideological point of view.
What a thrill with darkness and silence through the night. What a thrill, I'm searching and melting to you. What a fear in my heart... but you're so supreme. I give my life. Not for honor but for you. In my time, there will be no one else. Crime, it's the way I fly to you. I'm still in a dream, Snake Eater. Someday you go through the rain. And someday you feed on a tree frog. This ordeal, the trial to survive. For the day we see new light. I give my life. Not for honor but for you. In my time, there will be no one else. Crime, it's the way I fly to you. I'm still in a dream, Snake Eater. I'm still in a dream, Snake Eater.
No matter what I do when I play this game and get to this point, it hits me hard with some of the feels as well as the the determination of fighting him. And as it gets to the final part of the fight. I just make it like where we both hit each other each time, until the final take of it. Just to make it feel that much of a batter to me.
i wonder how different the story would've been if they kept that whole Liquid controlling Ocelot as a thing and not retcon it as Ocelot pretending to be controlled by Liquid through hypnotherapy.
I still don't get that because Ocelot removed Liquid's arm "to bring balance to his mind" which implies there were some nanomachines in that arm. It bugs me because they discarded what's left of Liquid offscreen
I'm insanely stoned right now as is typical when I get knee-deep in metal gear solid lore but God damn this shit is beautiful. It's like ocelot is fighting against his old boss or some shit. I'm lucky enough to be one of the few who is autistic enough to love this shit
