Check out the latest trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta, the remake of MGS3: Snake Eater. This TGS trailer features brand new footage from the Virtuous Mission, including your first look at EVA. #MetalGearSolid #MetalGear #Gaming
@@Devilsauronly kojima could make it so a scene where the main character gets aggressively fondled twice by a lighting controlling 7 foot madman is a critical plot point in a Cold War era spy espionage thriller
@aimanghazi7043 The shot with him about to pull the trigger of the Davy crockett was the most scary in this trailer. It really shows how much of an evil man he is with that grin.
"If you're going to do a remake of one of gaming's quintessential cornerstones, it needs something else. Look at these!" "...Nice shoes." "No! Updated graphics and a smoother version of its already established gameplay."
@@Pierdzichuj Not really. Look at the Capcom RE remakes, it's some of the best facial animation in the industry. What we're seeing here in terms of lip sync is not really acceptable.
One of my favorite series. Everyone looks fantastic too, no one got butchered in the process even Eva managed to survive the curse. Shame we didn't get more gameplay
@@GuyOnAChair he looks like himself. In 3 he looked nothing like ocelot. Now his head shape matches how he looks in 2 and 4 a bit more and V too. Less square and more round
@@phantyy4529everything she says is true. Politics doesn't just mean debates and opinions, it's interests and parties with power. It's about what those with power want, not what they preach.
Ocelot's face matches his look from MGS2. Pointy thin lower face and pronounced nose so it's pretty accurate to his design in MGS2 and even MGS4. Alot of people in the comments forgetting how he used to look like in MGS2.
Exactly. While the pachislot version looks much more closer to his MGSV counterpart, this design looks closer to his look in MGS2 and the younger version in MGS3.
The lip syncing is so off it hurts...and yes it matters because it is a different ball game to have realistic looking humans with poor lip sync, compared to what the OG was...
@@alphakowaclips are you new to games or something? It is 99% of the time the other way around... the devs are doing english lip sync and the issue arises when the japanese voices are chosen. Very rarely do japanese devs create japanese lip sync
It was an edited trailer, so some of it was out of sync. But in saying that, that's just what it looks like on photorealistic face, goofy/anime style VA on a realistic face is going to look out of place. Don't let nostalgia blind you.
@@Daniel-nn8mrits not about rushing it hasn’t been delayed yet and it’s supposed to come out this year you’d expect they have a release day yet but nothing with 4 months left till next year
Keep in mind this is a Kojima inspired game made by Kojima's old team. These characters are actually speaking Russian in lore, but meta gaming has it translated for the audience's convenience into English. possibly an explanation on why lip syncing here seems odd cause the lips are clearly detailed and enunciating words, just not the ones we are hearing.
@@Gustmazz No, its not even remotely similar. Remakes require genuine effiort and creativity. Re-skinning does not. Putting a fresh coat of paint on a wall and reconstructing a wall are two very different things.
@@TheWorldsOkayestUSMarine it’s funny that you feel so comfortable enough to disrespect someone over a comment when you know the exactly what he’s referring to. Clearly him along with a lot of people want to play the remake and not the 2004 version. So why even disrespect him? You’re obviously a young arrogant kid with a large uncontrollable ego.
There using unreal engine for this game animals fauna looked better than ever, and yes the voice over from the Original Mgs3 ( which it’s still perfect by the way ) and the improved controls too. Plus more content but there could be more.
Something is off. Looks a little sterile. Maybe some kind of color grading would help, and they reuse the old cutscene editing which sometimes looks amateurish. The bad lip syncing doesn't help either. Hopefully the gameplay itself will be golden.
True fans already moved on, the old games are archived on the original consoles and no one on their right mind expect anything from this franchise anymore. Its unfortunately but dead.
@@vaulttraveler You're right. Even though this LOOKS amazing and updated, it's still not Metal Gear without Hideo Kojima. Really looking forward to Physint.
The comments are filled with bots talking about the "eva". Looks nothing like her. Ocelot looks nothing like him. Eva's skin looks like a porcelain doll. It looks awful.
@@superking-nicolaslucau7252 Because usually with remakes/remasters the original dev team just gets a collective acknowledgement in the special thanks section of the credits and rarely names anymore specific. So it's notable the opening credits puts both the remake and original teams, by name, in the opening is significant. Especially as it requires more work adding them into the opening cutscene cinematography compared to end credit scroll.
@@PlebNC That's just plain wrong. Name games that do this. What actually happens is literally the contrary: they keep the original credits and add the remake team at the end. Mass Effect, TLOU... all did this.
@@superking-nicolaslucau7252 So your list of examples is 2 games, neither of which have opening credits for specific staff members making them irrelevant.
How close was the Boss and Big Boss? She met him when he was only 14 at Bikini Atoll, both affected by the atomic bomb test there. Since then, she had trained him until Big Boss joined the US Army, Green Berets, then special forces unit FOX. Snake was 29 years old and the Boss was 42 in 1964.
Yeah... likely synced to the Japanese dub. The original Mgs3 had the same problem. But it does kinda suck they didn't fix that in the remake. Its obviously not a dealbreaker for me lol
@@EleosGames Personally, I'm just not a fan of remakes. Especially a remake like this where it's just mostly a graphical update. And my bad for saying shame on you
The body animations are the same. Facial animations are completely different. The gameplay and controls have been reworked to be more like Phantom Pain.
