When your body is long since gone and you're actually just a data replica of yourself but you're still like the quintessential good guy so you drown your robot body to save the world and sing while doing it. If this doesn't make you cry I don't know what will man. What an inspiring character.

The Boss' innocence has been proven... can you hear it, Snake?

I'm aware this is a real song by a real band, but I still like to imagine that this is really what the Boss's singing voice sounds like. Doesn't she sound lovely?

After almost an hour of surviving through Peacewalker's battle, I was rewarded with this.

Peace Walker will always hold a special place in my heart. Its just something about that game, the story, Boss, Big Boss, Kaz, Paz etc. Something so perfect. Every time i hear this song i think about the hours ive spent in a world created by Hideo Kojima. Thank you Kojima for all the good times.

Knowing the events of Peace Walker, this song rips my heart out.

I truly wish that I could replay this game for the first time again...

Being old is not as bad as it looks, legends never die they just keep getting better. The best part about being older is the fact that I got to live those best years in 1998 and I'm forever grateful.

I like how the image has that old timey effect when the original plays then becomes clear when the metal gear version plays. Its just so fitting

Even though she really didn't get a lot of screen time, The Boss is by far one of the most interesting characters in MGS. Just from documents and cassette tapes you can tell just how extremely dynamic her whole life was. It's really sad too :( even though I know its fake, and I'm American, every time I think about everything America did to her I get really pissed off.

They play this song at my work every day and I've been asked why my eyes get a little misty when this song is playing. I can't bring myself to say it's because of this song being sung by The Boss' AI

From Sesame Street... to The Carpenters... to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker...

My dad is a huge Carpenters fan, and I remember growing up listening to them, so when I heard this while playing the game, it was like my childhood flashing before my eyes! :D

I swear, the second part of it sounds like the Boss herself is singing it to me...

One of the best games I've ever played and probably the best story ever in a game series. This particular game always makes me emotional. I am happy to have played it.

I think I've got a bead on it. Every time Kojima is in charge of EVERYTHING about a game...gameplay, storyline, musical score, everything...the results are nothing less than spooky-awesome. Whenever he hands it over to others...there's a lot of rocky roads ahead. Mr. Kojima: sing your badass songs.

I cried when The Boss was singing this as she dumped Peace Walker into the lake. :( We miss you, Bawss.

When I heard this song was (one of) the end credit songs to MGS Peace Walker, I was like, "you have to be kidding!" Now I've beaten the game and I have to say... Damn. It fits better then a square hole and peg... O,,o Hideo Kojima is a god of gaming! Go Hideo!

Watching through the MGS series (cutscene movies since I don’t have the patience or money for all of them) and damn, MGS:PW was incredible, really fucking good in my opinion

I believe I'm in the latter stages of Chapter 2 right now and was genuinely surprised when I got to the cutscene that had this song. It was a great choice and actually set the tone well. I started thinking back to MGS 3 as Big Boss was going up to the AI while this was playing and just thinking about it, it's funny how perfectly this song fits in.

When I play mgs3 snake eater....i hate the boss...but...after the ending scene of peace walker...i cried a lot....the story bang inside my heart.........the gameplay of peacewalker is not really good but.....the story...ty kojima.....you should end mgs saga with this game you know....

I hope that in the year since you posted this comment, you have played it. It was worth it. I don't think any final battle has had me more on the edge of my seat than this one.

I always wondered why this was playing the whole time I was playing this the first time around. I guess not knowing why made it more memorable, for me at least.
