+Edward Elric When you get the Auto-intercept head you can just keep calling it to you across a base, setting intercept mode, and it will take out anyone it sees, non-lethally if you have the tranq pistols on it, and no one ever sees you. Or ride it w/ a shield on your back, get a bunch of guys chasing you, and use the discharger thing to take out whole groups at once. Or if you're going lethal, you can use the flamethrower on anyone and they catch on fire instantly, even fully armored riot suit guys like heavy infantry. Lots of uses. You can even take out Sahelanthropus on Extreme w/ just the gatling gun.
+Edward Elric I wouldn't take him into a base for for general stuff he is nice. He even has a surveillance head that will map out an entire base for you.
+Tyrineal He's often better than the horse for s rank runs on missions that take you across large areas, and especially when there's gunships involved (saves you a slot on a missile launcher), so also handy for optional mission tasks.
If you’re doing Missions to get S-Rank, seems like D-Dog is your best friend at knowing where Enemies are at all times. If you’re doing Side Ops in Free Roam, D-Walker is absolutely the best one since he has Infinite Fultons and Infinite ♾ Tranquilizers so long as you keep Reloading Checkpoint after you’re done Stealing Resources and People.
I found that the best way to do this mission is with the semi auto .50 cal, it takes a while to unlock but it's can take out and armored skull with 2 headshots (or 4-5 body shots) and it can kill a mist unit in one shot to anywhere on the body
I did it in Extreme yesterday (with a Shield in my back too), D-Walker only takes 3 direct hits from the Skulls before gets destroyed but the Gatling Gun is super effective, just avoid the proyectiles and the brown mist
That how I’d do it . I use that fifty cal sniper rifle and that and one hit of that or the sinful butterfly their life band sucks out like a 7/11 slurpee straw
A better method is to put a few decoys a few meters away from the gun first, that way the skulls will get attracted by the decoys first and you can shoot them longer.
I hardly ever used D-Walker until I figured out he was the best at fultoning materials containers from a safe distance at places like Nova Braga Airport in Africa. Was doing it the hard way - going in and fultoning them all with BB, while dodging soldiers, snipers, Walker Gears and the enemy chopper during _'The War Economy'_ mission but, now I can just fulton them all by staying outside the outer wall of the airport. The last Precious materials containers in the hangar, are no big deal - just used a grenade to blow up the fence entrance (which goes unheard by the enemy) and then just sneak up to the hangar and extract them. Easy as pie... with a checkpoint really close by to boot...
or you could just use brenan or serval + quiet with sinful butterfly to finish this somewhat faster. Plenty of ways to do this fight but nothing beats duking it out with a sniper rifle mahn.
U know that mission where u need to extract a convoy and the skulls pop out? That entire mission I just hid under a tank scared af getting quiet to slowly take out them

I completed the extreme version of this mission with just a Brennan as my only buddy, and I obtained the S rank too xD never knew the D- Walker could be so useful anyway!! nice job, dude!!
Holy cannoli 10/10 never thought to use d walker on that mission, I s'd the extreme version of that mission on accident with the Brennan sniper. I climbed on top of the hanger roof and easily killed them.

When I first played this mission, I thought that Code Talker ( the old man ) needs to be protected; I died five times while staying near the chopper, before I opened the page about this mission on the PiggyBack guide.

this is the mission where i quit... i was tired enough of having to deal with skulls so i just gave up before starting it since my friend told me it was absolute hell. my strategy was "spam the rocket launcher untill they die" and it barely worked, so i just decided to quit the next time. ive started the game again and couldnt complete a mission before this that was hell. involved a truck that needs to be transported and SPOILER ALERT, skulls come out of it
I used D-horse on one attempt and Quiet on another. I also made sure to use my primary loadout which was a a grenade launcher and missile launcher plus 3 supply drops. D-horse was good at trampling over them and giving me a very agile firing angle when I knocked them over. Quiet just kept taking pot shots at any of them so it kinda bought me some time before I was engaged in a 4 v 1 hand to hand.
I brought Quiet because D-walker alone costs 5000 f**king GMP what i borught for loadout was the Rasp shotgun (the first btw) and the machine gun (also the first) the shotgun was tearing the skulls i would use it after CQCing them and the machine gun when they were annoying and kept shooting
@@thefallen2220 oo nice, I find that explosives and heavy weapons are a must so after like the 2nd engagement I willingly switched over since outside of facing skulls I don’t sneak in as much and prefer calling air support almost as much as using Quiet, and I only use Quiet (when I completed mission 11) with the cover me command on 24/7 for most missions anyway.
Look how useless the skulls are compared to a heavily upgraded Walker Gear. I wonder why Skull Face didn't spend money and resources to upgrade Walker Gears instead lol.
yup, the loadout I use to beat the armored skulls is : brennan lrs-46, a good assault rifle (doesn't matter wich one I use, but I use the mrs-4), the water pistol (so you can distract them to get some time to run away by shooting them with it, just like quiet), the sneaking suit for fast healing and the blast arm for explosive CQC after a machete counter, this loadout works like a charm on the normal metallic archaea mission (not sure about the extreme mission though, I haven't tried it yet)

+The Avid Gamer welp, I finally finished the extreme version, I actually used the combat suit, the serval amr-7, and the infinity bandana for this one, it took me a lot of time to finish but I finally did it, f** the S rank xD
I knew the walker would kick their asses and i wanted a challenge, long story short, 9 tries later i got the walker and fucked them up in less than a minute.
i know this is an old video but I just downloaded this game , and now my snake , does not wash the blood off of himself no matter how many showers I give him ? has this happened to anyone else , or is this a bug from maybe the game being a download ? I have changed his uniforms , showered him hundreds of times , and still he just looks like a disgusting red thing. he is bloodier the quiets blood camo. its disturbing. any help would be appreciated. peace.

For anyone whos stuck on this still Use the max level gatling gun And equip a PB shield. if ur d walker goes down and gets destroyed use a RASP shotgun.
