Metal: Hellsinger is supremely addicting, intense and FUN. If there is one game I want you to play and support this year, it's Metal: Hellsinger! BUY IT NOW!
When the songs kick in on the 16x multiplier and your nailing those perfects all while playing what is essentially a heavily Doom 2016 inspired shooter, I swear you enter a trance. This game is fucking phenomenal
@@tabzilla1 it such a unique feeling, with every perfect timed pistol shot it’s like I can feel the music. I love this game, hope they make more of it.
I don't know if you have heard about Bullets per Minute, it's a rougelike where you need to shoot to the beat with Valkyres. It's a bit less forgiving as you can't shoot or dash off beat but the soundtrack of that game is also amazing.
@@DarkStar0915 I have, I got BPM right after I finished Hellsinger, desperate to fill the new void Hellsinger left but something about BPM just isn’t the same. Hellsinger with the faster Doom 2016 style combat and the soaring mechanic was just too much fun. Wish I had played BPM first, I would have enjoyed it more I’d bet. Shame too, I nearly tried BPM like 4 or 5 times in the past
For real dude, i played the whole game in one sitting after going in completely blind, ended up finishing at like 1 am. Most fun ive had in a game in a long time.
Alyssa's vocals in Stygia are so damn clean. Like holy smokes she is a goddess and that song really screams the old school Nazi Zombies songs with Elena Siegman.
The song played at the perfect time as well. Don't know if it was on purpose to talk about her (the half human, half demon woman you play as) getting some of her voice back (after the boss fight) then playing a song with lyrics like "hear me" with female vocals. Weird that others didn't seem to notice that.
It is great indeed, but the best? It is pretty commercial tbh, for the masses to enjoy. (not saying that it's a bad thing, it's actually good if more people get to understand and enjoy metal)
Had no idea and went absolutely ballistic when I heard him at the main boss event. I broke my mouse when I didn't win the first time cause the song stops...
Tatiana, Matt Heafy, alissa white-gluz, serj tankien, and Randy Blythe. Seriously most of my favorite metal vocalists on one album AND kickass game. This is a masterpiece.
def gotta check out some of soilwork's old shit like nerve or most stuff off their stabbing the dram album, hooooly shit man some of those songs are *chef kiss*... up there with some of the bests of metal
Then you've gotta check out Mikael Stanne too. Dark Tranquility, Grand Cadaver and now The Halo Effect. He's seriously one of my favorite artists right now.
@@hevybarsy7174 Dennis Lyxzén (featured on the last level of Metal Hellsinger) is from Swedish hardcore punk band Refused and their song New Noise was used in the Doom 2016 trailer! 🙌🏼 They also did the music for the fictional band Samurai in Cyberpunk 2077.
@@9mmhobbes I’m gonna do the best training to this one. Sitting on my chair in front of the tv wit while eating sticks of butter and mainling cookie dough. 🤘😁🖤
So, I have a bit of headcannon here. I believe that when the male vocals kick in during these songs, that’s Paz singing (Paz is the skull Unknown carries about, aka the Narrator). Conversely, when the female vocals kick in, that’s Unknown singing. Now, the story says she lost her voice, but after beating the first boss, Paz says she gained a fragment of her voice back. Fun fact, only after you beat the first boss do the songs start having female vocals. I like to think that Unknown uses that small portion of her voice to sing a glorious symphony with Paz, while they run about slaying demons. It makes the music seem even more glorious.
The hardest part about this game is trying to keep the rhythm, play the game, headbang and resist the urge to air guitar/drum, but it’s still so much fun, you learn to hear the rhythm which makes it a lot easier and makes it so you don’t have to watch the triangles to keep the rhythm
@@u1frickb1ack55Exactly, they're both exceptionally talented and have their own style, music isn't a competition unless you're a manufactured pop star.
Completed the game yesterday. Absolutely amazing. Every song is a masterpiece! It's amazing how music drives your reactions and skills to a whole demonic level!
YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THEY GOT JAMES DORTON IN ON THIS. This makes me so INCREDIBLY happy to see. Black Crown Initiate is insane and to see some spotlight put on them makes me really hope that they get some more love. They have been around for almost 10 years and continue to amaze me with every album release
When I played the demo I usually stayed in the final bossfight just jumping around until the track ended, because the fight would have been over way too early.
This game was so addictive I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Like others have said you really just enter a trance playing this and become one with the beat. Truly amazing game.
This game, is fucking SICK!!! The better you play, the better your rhythm the more of the song opens up, only gotten to mission 2 this far but hearing Alissa White-Gulz singing in your ear all the way to the boss, fantastic. Best FPS I’ve played this year, definitely a 10/10 from me
Went in just to play the tutorial and hear the first song and ended up playing for 3 hours 😆 So sad the game is so short, I'm almost already done. But just like the demo, I'm gonna be playing it again and again. That top 200 first try is taunting me. Gotta get top 100 just like in the demo (i was around top 70 or top 50. No way getting better than that cuz the best players are CRAZY getting twice my points)
If you're into this game at all, give BPM Bullets Per Minute a try, also a great fps rhythm shooter. I absolutely love hellsinger more though, I'm a huge metalhead and this OST grabs you by the balls. Love it. Hope this game gets enough love in the industry so the developers are incentivized to make more or at least give future support to this game. Would be awesome to have a survival mode where you try to play through the entire album for the game in one go with some boss fight stuff thrown inbetween the songs, idk. Tldr: Badass game.
@@omegawolf2886 yeeee community content support would be cool af. It's why I got rocksmith on PC instead of console a few years back. Yes I said rocksmith hahahhaa dont judge xD
The first time i heard of system of a down i was 10 years old.. I was really really disappointed when i heard serj's solo stuff, then with the time i learned to apprecciate...but deep inside i always wanted to hear serj's go full metal again.. And this "no tomorrow " is an absolute masterpiece...hands down his best solo work. Never tought i would ever hear him scream like this again.
the fact that they got such a godly cast of heavy metal all-stars to give their all on this project is the best eardrum busting gift lucifer could give us.
My buddy just recommended this game to me this morning, and I’ll be playing it when I get home, the names attached to these songs are huge and the music is pretty killer from what I’ve heard so far, looking forward to play it
@@omegawolf2886 Man I REALLY enjoy this game, it's an excellent re-imagining of DOOM 2016 and the music actually involving these big name artists is awesome, easily a 9/10 for me

I think it's fucking neat that this game is giving everybody a taste of what it's like to be a drummer ( just with their fingers ig ) as a drummer this game came really natural to me and the music just fucking rips! so glad I stumbled upon it
Imagine if they had an alternate soundtrack for Beast mode where the soundtrack was entirely syncopated, that would be so much fun! I loved this entire game and all the amazing vocalists, they truly made a masterpiece together.
If you finish the game you unlock arch demon difficulty, it’d be better to save alt tracks for that mode. Its feral how many annihilator angels and siege giants they throw at you
"Alright, I'm gonna binge this game until I get to the SOAD song, then I'll start working on my school project." I still remember how mushed my brain was after those 7h of metal.
This whole game is more metal than most artists put out. Im captivated by this soundtrack. This "game"band has cultivated the best metal vocalist and knocked it out of the park. Metal lives within this game.
Had to recommend this game to my metalhead friends. Slaying demons to the beat of songs like these just feels right, love how the vocals always find the perfect moment to kick in during an intense battle.
when you so into the music and killing deamons to the beat that you basicly forgets its a game with a plot and you remember (kinda) a line: "Hell steals your memory, so you cant remeber what you did down here, or if you do, its just enough to make you suffe"
so... im a full on Hip hop Head not only cus i produce Hiphop But i grew up with rap Music... But i played this game for 5 Hours straight and now im in love with this ost!!!!
It soo sad to see how quick of a campaign it was but i know for dam sure they will have DLC lined up and new artist to join the Slaughter rythem! Hope we can vote the next group to join!
Only if it does well. And I really doubt they would contact someone only to not use them so I definitely don't see a vote becoming a thing. So yeah tell yer friends to buy it.
I love that despite the similarities you just can't find a hint of fighting between DOOM fans and this game. Everybody is just extremely happy more game studios are beginning to realise how well games and Metal correlate. We need more of that!
If only I didn't suck at rhythm games. XD These songs are amazing for metal, especially Stygia and No Tomorrow. Top 2 favorites if I had to choose. Facts.
Pretty neat game! As for the tracks, I must say, unexpectedly I was surprised by the Guest Singers I didn't know everything of the most! Matt Heafy, although I'm a big fan and seen him perform over 3 times, I must say, he leaned a lot into Silence In The Snow, which I didn't like as much as his other stuff. Serj, went in mixed for me, partially very old school SOAD, partially Serj solo Album sound. Overall, great performances thoughout but I really love the Alissa White Gluz and Bjorn Strid songs the most. When that Chorus kicks in during a dicy moment, so fking Cathartic, I swear to god on god.
