Welcome to my first video gameplay, i choose the great METAL MUTANT, game born in 1993 that i play like crazy, very adictive and dificult (i pass this game 15 years later from my first play) played and recorded in dosbox.Sorry for the sound.
Aqui mi primer video de la partida completa del Metal Mutant un juego al que le tengo mucho cariño y que he conseguido superar despues de 15 largos años.Pese a pasar tantos años he disfrutado como si fuera el primer dia, un juego muy exigente en el que mas de un puzzle nos dara dolor de cabeza (putas tuberias).
El juego comienza en el planeta Kronox, hemos sido enviados para acabar con Androd VII y asi coronarnos como su sucesor. Avanzaremos por una jungla llena de trolls y diversos bichos. Una ciudad en la que su lider"el vagabundo" intentara darnos muerte en cuanto nos vea. Y como punto final las 5 piramides cada una de ellas con un reto hasta dar con Androd VII. Para realizar esta dificil hazaña podremos utilizar 3 robots distintos: tenemos un ciborg, un dinosaurio y un tanque. Cada robot con sus habilidades que iran aumentando segun avancemos el juego. Todo un clasico que siempre da gusto volver a jugar. Nota 8,5/10 __--__dariodborbon "el rey de los clasicos

That game was one of the first I played on my 286 PC when I was maybe like 13 back in the begging of the90' along with Eye of the Beholder, Titus the Fox and Budokan, I remember I had the French version of Metal Mutant and because of that I could never get past the part where you have to choose passwords on a terminal, even by trial and error it was impossible since they never told you which specific answers you did wrong. One thing that captivated me in this game was the backgrounds depicting futuristic city skyline. Amazing. Thanks for reminding me of the game!

Heh, I had the french version too! I even learned french but not enough to guess that part. For its time it had a beautiful detailed look, I loved how things move in the background - that was not so common then.

Amazing. This game has been a barely-remembered sliver of gaming memory since I was about 15. I had nothing but a mental snapshot of green jungle backgrounds and some lizards, and an awareness of some sort of sci-fi concept. I remember thinking how cool it was but knew nothing about it. Alas I only had a demo version from a cover disc or maybe a sampler I got from a show, and never completed it. The memory has come back to me repeatedly over the years, never able to remember what it was. It was Metal Mutant! Thanks for the video!

This game had a beautiful vision of the future. Very provoking visuals. I remember this game being bloody hard though.

I played this all the time as a kid. Without a manual or the internet, I could never progress beyond a point (or maybe it was the demo only) but I eventually got the full version and finished it. More of a puzzle game than a platformer really, where you have to solve each room using your various abilities. I gotta play this again someday.

Remember not having made it from the jungle. Its 30+ years and I was 6-7. Great game that sucked you in. Extremely tough though :DD

You never seem to use the Cyborg's "fork" attack - it isn't powerful but it is a quick mid-level attack at the middle of the screen that can kill weaker enemies fast.

For good sound you need set cpu circle more than 30000

same, it took me weeks to find out that you can swap characters. Jeeez, but I was like 7 years old and had time to find it out. Today I would delete the game right away :D

How do you save the game? I got to the save screen, switched to the cyborg and tried every Shift-combination I could think of and it wouldn't save :(

Hi, really nice walktrhought but i notice that the sound is bad emulated. I have the same issue the sounds are distorted when the game is emulated with dosbox. Someone knows how fix that? Greetings
