Okay. This giantess raidboss thing is pretty big. I'm talking about those stats you dinguses. Pros: -560AP is absolutely great numbers for a unit this beefy -51mil HP. That's gotta be the highest HP numbers for any non-strengthened unit. -Immunity to stun -Recovers 5% of her max HP per 5 seconds. That would be weak numbers, but she has 51mil HP and thus actually heals 2.5mil. -Appears on the front line or the middle of the map, so immediately becomes a threat. -Also has I-frames during her special attack and a good special attack duration, synergising well with reload. -Deals big amounts of damage in a large area -Moves around by going in and out of the ground. Teleporting basically. -Can damage the base with her long range attack -Deals large bursts of damage rather than damage per tick numbers. A good counter vs evasion units. -Makes Ultimate Bosses look like ants in terms of stats -Gains millions of HP with every HP buffer used -Pretty much can only be killed during the lategame -Gains a fake wall on her original position when using her special attack -Can harass the frontline and midline with special attack -Holds ground really really well due to her front-line emerging -Also comes with 2x HP assists, so basically powers herself up already. -Terrifying, terrifying synergy with Invader King. Cons: -Has no status effects in her attacks -Hates being silenced since that's her only form of I-frames -Poison is also a great way to hurt this unit -Low single target damage -Only has one damage attribute which shuts down her chances at breaking through most barrier units -Does have a vulnerability period after using her special attack before she can use it again -Being a gigantic target means all stray damage sources will eventually hit her -Vulnerable during the start of her special attack when she goes into the ground and initially after reemerging. -Great HP numbers but with no significant way to evade damage, she will go down pretty quickly during the lategame. -Very slow to attack or move -He strength in these 1v1s is absolutely not a good reference for her effectiveness. No individual unit can get through her. -Struggles to kill units with HP recovery -An indestructible mid to lategame wall, but not a post-lategame wall. -Doesn't gain ground that well due to only moving when using her special attack or when unable to attack anything
she lacks of i frames, and slug attack will make her useless, i guess she will only work on space army decks. it might be a good strategy to let her tank alone, and then spam campers, since everyone will ignore her while using her special, so u can force enemy campers to advance, making them very easy targets

@@choosybiscuit684 also slug attack with def- can oneshot everything on the game, at least phoenix ultimate skill is one use only, and u need to spent 1k ap, unlike the normal slug attack, that u just need to press a button every 7 seconds
@@0015v that’s debatable, MSD didn’t have mummy cat girls, robot girls or plant ladies. Unless you’re referring to the KOF units which aren’t really the best, I’d say it’s a big improvement over MSA. Like it’s still recognizable as a metal slug game

This game is intended to be balance? I tried it few days ago doing tutorial, missions and story lines with a variety of units. Them, at second day, I got one of those waifu units from that lever stuff and she essentially replaced my entire army. No strategy, no investment, no farming... I left the game after 2 days of spamming her on every single game. Maybe at the very early stage of the game there is no strategy needed since everything is intended to be easy for new players but I saw some end game videos and they look all the same, huge units in large numbers stacking until they overwhelm the enemy.
@@Angel-zv2yi this is that was the game back then. Balanced, strategy, slow paced though and the units that you could get from the crank werent broken. Heck even if they were the AP was so slow you never saw them. The game was beautiful honestly, but then the powercreeping waifus happened. It ruined the complete balance and the tip of the iceberg was the I-frame special spam. Since then almost every unit needs it otherwise they will die. Then it got WAY worse when EVERY unit can do HUGE amounts of splash damage.. I would force myself to not use waifus/super strong units and play with the units the game freely gives you (as in rewards for stages) if you want to experience the campaign as is was designed back in the day
@@CrossTheShadow I use to play all those games when I was a kid. Tried this game for the nostalgia, got very disappointed... Not because the art, lore or gameplay but the complete lack of balance.

@@Silverlevian A lo que me refiero, es que se supone que SNK había dicho que los ataques tanto largos como cortos que hacen mucho daño y que no se pueden bloquear no iban a dañar la base y si no tienes unidades al frente, ella automáticamente se va hasta la base y con un ataque que haga, adiós

I think SNK will have HP and ATK reinforce status for Ultimate Units because 200~700Ap reinforced units surpasses its HP and Survive also sometimes its dps.
