Ryo, Robert, Takuma and Yuri are from the Art of Fighting series, Leona, Heidern, Clark and Ralf are from Ikari Warriors, Terry, Billy, Geese, Blue Mary, King, etc are from Fatal Fury (the origin of King of Fighters), Athena and her team are from the Psycho Soldier games. And a few others.

Me alegra ver que no solo eres bueno en los juegos de móviles eso es algo que últimamente se está perdiendo en la comunidad de metal slug y es muy triste que no conozcan las bases de esta franquicia

That was great. XX is my favorite in the series. Now I feel motivated to go back to it on my ps4 and try to improve my scores (not that they were very good to begin with 🤣)
@@MrCoconuts64_Lum69 I understand you, bro. And I didn't know that the final boss was a cameo, tha ks for the fact. I guess I Just find it the most fun to play because of the gameplay alone, which I think is its strongest part and also the best in the series. I also understand what you say about the backgrounds and the mission 2-3 boss (which I like because the fight itself is very diferent), maybe those were just things I didn't mind that much and hope they improve in the next entry, if there is one. Also, there are two things that made me love xx; playing as Leona and the fight with Allen in the giant slugs.
@@GrensPoimandres Hows the gameplay the best in the series here? It easily has the least amount of unique enemies or cool set pieces in the whole series even counting ms4 and 5 If anything the best and only thing this game does better than any other are the bosses, but thats it
@@user-fy1nq3nf1q I guess I was thinking of how much I enjoyed the new slugs, specialy the giant one, also the thunder shot, how much it matters now which character you choose since their unique abilities do make a diference and Leona, which is the most fun part of the game for me. But I understand what you mean; guess it would have sufficed saying is the one I find the most fun.
Yeah the new announcer wasn't needed at all. The one from X is the best one, followed by 6's, 1's and finally this game's announcer. Has none of the punch the past ones had

Great 1CC! You're quite the Metal Slug player there! It's one of my favourite retro run and gun series! The game is tough to play due to some platforming involved and the enemy control there but memorisation and using resources of items wisely can make it a cakewalk! (As well as the invincibility system from jumping out of the Metal Slug vehicle. 40:37 I thought you lost a life here after defeating the final boss! Very lucky! What's the best method defeating the 5th mission boss when using other characters because it gets insane at a certain point...
tbh the reason i like msxx just because Leona only, i don't quite like the announcer back then, but it's an enjoyable game with my little brother i love Metal Slug since PsOne era
The Announcer saying Mission 1-6 was new But then when it said "Final Mission Start" in 31:14, it sounded like they transitioned to the old announcer I don't know if it's just me but it just seemed off.
She's basically Marco ( his default attack deals more damage ) , Ralf ( Physical connoseiur ) and Fio ( i think in some patch she has more ammo like Fio did ) mixed into one
