Metal Vocalist - BTS Young Forever ( REACTION ) 

I find it impossible to watch their emotional reaction to English- speaking fans singing their own Korean lyrics to them without shedding a tear or two. You are not alone, John.💜

I’m crying 😭😭😭 DAMN YOU JOHN! Like what JK said that you missed “I was not supposed to cry today” Young forever is such a personal song to BTS and army. It’s one of our comfort songs that can move us to tears with just one line “Forever, we are young.” Jimin loves this song so much that he got it tattooed on himself. That day in Wembley broke so many people. All the armies that went that day said everyone went home cry. There was no dry eye that day Let’s stay young forever army 💜

The "staff" did not plan this, the French ARMYs did. The French ARMYs planned this whole event to take place at the concert in Paris, which was scheduled for the next week. The fans planned the whole thing and got permission from BigHit. Imagine all of our shock and surprise when we were watching the Wembley concert live and suddenly this happened. All of social media went crazy, French ARMYs were crying and angry and heartbroken! I think someone realized what a historic moment it would be and decided to do it during Wembley, because it was a HISTORIC concert; first Asian group to perform there, sell out crowd of 90,000, and the concert was being taped for release as a DVD. BTS didn't know any of this and this moment is SO emotional for ARMY and for BTS, and is part of our history, but I can't help but feel bad for the French ARMYs. They were so heartbroken and felt betrayed. I can imagine how despondent they felt the very next week when they weren't able to show their love to BTS, in the way they had planned, because it had already been done. I experienced it live, as it was happening, and always have mixed emotions when I watch it. Not to take away from the moment, because it is so moving, but.... just wanted to share a bit of ARMY history.

- Wembley Stadium is legendary. BTS is only the 12th artist to ever sell it out and they did it two nights in a row. In 90 minutes! So for them to hear their native language sung there was something very special indeed. - Jimin even has Young and Forever tattooed above his elbows, it’s that important to him. They ended the concert with Mikrokosmos and he couldn’t sing because he was full-on crying. (You should definitely watch them trying to sing that one afterwards. Jimin and Jungkook were a mess. 😭) - Jin later shared that he felt a responsibility as the oldest to keep his emotions in check but that when they had ended the concert he cried too. - They even included this as the start of their song For Youth on the Proof Anthology album and the sentiment made so many ARMYs cry all over the world. - V still hasn't made good on his promise to return because the next year....the pandemic happened. But we're still hoping here in Europe... 🤞🥺

Young forever is produced by RM and he is the main lyricist. RM is amazing talented musician. And this song helped jiminie so much. He love the song so much.

BTS have a connection with their fans like no other Fandom ive seen. I've been fans of some amazing groups through out my 51 years and I've never been so connected to one group then bts. Yes they can sing great, they can rap great and they can dance great thousands of groups can do that. But the ability to influence , inspire , connect too ones fans in just my opinion beyond something ive never seen. I think this is because they genuinely care and appreciate their fans and they try to make music for all of their fans, so all can relate to them. This song every time I hear it or see this clip of fans singing to them just reminds me of how much they love their fans and its just amazing to see.

This song means so much to BTS and to us. Jimin has YOUNG tattooed on the back of his left arm right above the elbow, and FOREVER on the right. Watching this moment live online made me WEEP. We do love these boys. 💜

OMG my favorite BTS song. I'm already 52 yrs old but YOUNG FOREVER gets me emotional. The lyrics are raw, honest and beautiful. Which other artists would be honest and vulnerable about their fame and applauds are not forever but still want to hold on to those precious moments? I also love the MV that expresses about youth and adolescent (or BTS) wandering thru a maze of life but will eventually find a path of their own. This is part of the BU but this song means a lot to me on its own.

This song 😭😭 knowing what it means to BTS, to ARMY and specifically to Jimin, I get emotional everytime I listen to it. Jimin has said in a past vlive, around the time right after their 2018 mma speech about how they nearly broke up - that a video of fans singing along to this song (not at wembley) reminded him of the reason he is still in BTS and what makes it all worth it. He has young forever tattoos too (and one for yoongis nevermind).

At 62 yrs old (or young, lol) looking back lately over so much I've seen, felt, longed to & or did experience during the past 6 + decades, I realize that this one song expresses the universally felt desire to BE young forever; if not in our physical bodies, to be as YOUNG at HEART as possible forever .... all of our lives. EVERY human being feels this, and they captured the essence of that desire so movingly. My 7 Bangtan Grandsons will ALWAYS BE, to me, the greatest performers/dancers/artists/singers & rappers/group that ever graced the planet. We, alive today, are so blessed to be born & have lived at a time in man's history when BTS's 7 unique, talented, creative, giving souls united, struggled & arose to shine their exquisite light onto all of us to promote a better way to exist and think.Forever WE ARE grateful to them.

I was there, I was one of the most emotional nights of my life. There was an ocean of tears through the stadium that night, mixed emotions of seeing them cry but we know their tears were from happiness but it still hurts seeing them cry. 😭

Young forever was supposed to be in RM's first mixtape but apparently the company liked it somuch they asked him if it can be a bts song. Young forever is the first song he produced. He has been a lyricist since he was a little boy but his production skills are amazing as well.

That moment at Wembley was also one of my happiest and emotional moment in my life. Following their music since 2014 and seeing them live at one of the biggest stadiums in the world, them still being open, vulnerable and passionate about their music and this moment created by the staff, made it one of the most memorable time.

One of my fave songs:-) Yoongi´s rap part in the beginning of the song is something almost transcendental to me, it is so emotionally raw and so touching, I get goose flash every time I hear him. Seeing it being performed live recently in US during their concert ( only on a YT video unfortunately) was an ultimate dream come true. When Suga part came the whole stadium erupted in loud scream and I couldn´t be more proud. Suga owned those US concerts :-) Something magical ..........

The irony of life, it is! This moment saved BTS from disbandment. At this moment, their popularity suddenly blew up immensely far beyond their expectation and it overwhelmed all of them, brought anxiety and emotional turmoil to all of them. Even RM, the leader, felt the pressure of facing the question on 'what will be the next", waning his confidence. All the members felt the pressure of the weight of their uncontrollable growing popularity. As they are all intellectually good people, they cannot stop themselves from not caring about the people that has been suppoeting them. As they go up the peak, they all felt the pressure from expectation of them being the role model to their Country's youth on the top of their arts and music, not to mention the pressure of sustaining the magnitude of their economic contrubution to their beloved country, South Korea, by virtue of their mere existence. After this moment, BTS realised that the cannot waver in behalf of their Army fans and must pay tribute to their fans. So that making their fans happy and proud of themselves became the trust of BTS' art and music. As to the rest of the issues, BTS came to realize that they can definitely share the burden to other KPop bands by supporting and uplifting the entire KPop industry, which eventually led to Bighit acquiring HYBE, purposely to take in and support more recording labels which create new breed for the next KPop generations. And, this mission has become apparent when BTS started collaborating with artists from other label, like RM collaborating with Korean artists in his Indigo Album to show the world that there are many Korean artists with global calibre, Jimin with Taeyang of BigBang, JHope appearing in dance practices of Hybe artists from its other labels, Suga inviting musicians and band members in his talk-show, Jimin supported his friend Taemin, who appeared in Suga's show, and recently, V collaborated with IU. And, i heard that JK might release anytime soon a solo track with a fellow South Korean artist. This is how admirable BTS are, they go far beyod being an artist. The more their love for ARMY fans grows deeper, the more their heart grows toward their beloved Country, their support to the Kpop industry which creates employment to many, and to inspire their Army fans with the stuff they stand for unfolding in their music. #BTSYoungForever 💜💜💜

I love Young Forever so much. It was before they were really big, but it was during that turning point when it seemed like maybe they could. So running toward their dreams meant something different when they wrote it. It's a brave song, and it holds in it the acknowledgment that these precious moments won't last. If I could have been at any BTS concert, it would have been this one. Just beautiful.

This song gets me every time I hear it. And it's the lines "The huge applause cannot be mine forever... Even if there is no everlasting audience, I will sing..." that are so telling to me. It reveals that this ability to be an artist whose music can touch the hearts of audiences forever is what they as a band desire knowing that it is a reality that does not exist -- there is no such thing as an "everlasting fan." And yet, wistfully, hope-filled, childishly, it is what they want. They shout it out in the hook. Not to be a celebrity for popularity's sake but for the chance to touch another human with their art. That the idea of youth equates to being relevant, having the energy, and the ability to bring joy to others. That is what they want --that is what being forever young means to them. And THAT is what gets me every time. 💜💜

Songs like this are why I will always stan BTS over any other K-pop group. The intensity of their lyrics, the meaning, no other group is doing it like them and it's just amazing. Thank you for all of your positivity and work that you do and thank you for loving the boys as much as we all do!

I love this song so much. 🥲 Since everyone already said the things I wanted to say too, I just want to add my other thoughts. As an army falling in love with BTS went in 3 stages, 1. RESPECT, the respect I had for the music and the things they do, 2. ADMIRATION, the more I listen & see them the more I get to know them, the more I admire the things they do and wanted to follow them...then lastly, it couldn't be helped that everything will turn to 3. ADORATION, they are just so easy to love and you would really want the best for them. When I see the relationship of BTS and their staff, I thought they are just like us and probably went thru these same stages. Even tho they are usually blurred on videos the warm smiles and giggles radiates, the way they take care of the boys, the concern when BTS having hard times, them being very very happy and going all out celebrating BTS achievements, their guards being very really protective, the Run BTS PDs ensuring that they can give BTS fun, memorable, meaningful activities, editors putting the most loving captions ever in their contents. BTS staff are OG ARMYs who can physically support them, if I say. Warm passionate people will attract warm passionate people too. 💜

RM & Suga offer more commentaries on the state of things and then Hobi comes in with the "but let's do this" and I think it's such an important signature of BTS' work. It's clear his optimism comes from a place of wisdom and maturity and, as much as I've learned from all of them, I can honestly say I am the brighter, more positive person I am today because of Hobi.

I was there at Wembley, it was such an expensive trip for me, from South Africa, but my sister still lives in the UK, so I was with her, we were so far from the stage…But we didn’t care. This was such an incredible experience, as a concert it blew us away, and this moment broke me, emotionally I have never been so vulnerable, we were all as one, all so open- and so drained for days afterwards. You know, somehow that you will never experience anything like that again. And Tae has not been able to keep his heartfelt promise, Covid came and they have not returned as yet…💔 💜💜

I'm a 66 yr old Army and my heart and mind are forever young. My oldest tells me to act my age and though my body hurts my brain says I'm still 21. My youngest loves the fact that I'm like this. He's not big on Bts but we share an interest in a lot of other music and have been to a lot of concerts together and used to go to warp tour together. I share bts music I think he would like and he shares music with me. If you let you mind stagnate then you have already died inside. Bts has kept me going.

This is the best video of the event that I've seen. It broke my heart to hear V promising "to come back next year" - they were supposed to and my granddaughter had tickets but the pandemic hit and their concerts were cancelled 😢😢I'm just hoping they will come to London again some time soon 💜💜💜

I will never forget that evening, so lucky I was as able to sing for our 7 young men. Unfortunately the pandemic happened so V could not keep his promise😢. We will wait til they complete their military service and I hope to see them live again. I’m a senior ARMY so in 2005 will be 74 young forever 💜

I knew the tears would flow, I can never not cry when I watch this, their reactions are priceless, from Joon laughing & smiling so he doesn’t ugly cry, JK crouching in tears, Jin & Tae stares at the army’s, & Hobi closing his eyes listening to it, for them to be in THE famous Wembley Stadium where many amazing legends have performed before them, all English speaking, now 60,000 singing in Korean, love that this was a surprise for them,it was so well deserved, but also for it to be at Wembley( daaaaayyyyy o ) epic for sure. I was there both nights it was amazing.. 😭 When they told us that we were gonna sing i googled the lyrics so i can read the parts i didnt know hurriedly, but they put it on the screen for us.
