This song is actually Japanese and she translated the lyrics and wrote the english version herself. She doesn't even speak Japanese. Definitely check out her version of God-ish too. It's just as good and the song is great.
@@severedproxy She meant to say words instead of Kanji, so this isn't actually the case. I think she clarified that she knows around 300-400 Kanji but I don't remember the exact number, so she is definitely still at the late beginner stage.
Late reply. For this song, she has someone else to translate the lyrics (or maybe used an already available translation? Either way, I think she credited the translator in the description). Then, she use the literal translation as reference to make the English lyrics herself. You know, to make it fit to the music and not awkward like 1:1 translations would usually turn out.
@@Black_company101no so Ado is the original vocalist of Usseewa but the lyrics as well as instrumentals were made by another artists named Syudou who eventually covered the song himself in his own "selfcover" as the vocalist as well so they both are partially the original
...fuck me, I can't read, sorry genuiene mistake I thought the person above me was talking about usseewa not godish, yes so she played no part in the original godish and did a cover of it, godish being by pinnochio-p Truly sorry for the miscommunication
oh I saw this just now, damn you RU-vid. Btw she is Hoshimachi Suisei co-worker (you already reacted to her). Nerissa is part of the new generation of talents of the English Branch of Suisei's company: Hololive Production
This song is always insane to me regardless of who sings it. Though my personal favorite has to be Kanade Izuru's cover of this song. I reccommend checking it out. His vocals are perfect for this song and he truly makes it his own.
Please hear her other song and cover, her voice is gorgeous. She debut not long ago but her vocal tier in holo live already on top! God her voice sound like heaven
You NEED to react to Nerissa's cover of Down By The River from Baldur's Gate 3, also her cover of God-ish. Honestly just watch all of her covers, it's worth every second!
it’s actually about a child begging for attention from their parents/other people the “meet me after school” part can be viewed as the protagonist wanting attention from other people because their parents won’t give any
I liked this english cover, but personally my favorite cover of this song (and my favorite song) is Love Me, Love Me, Love Me covered by Miori Celesta. It's an amazing cover, would love to see you react to it
one thing I would like to see is a Metal cover of this song, I feel like someone like Corey Taylor would match the song, his soft voice and the scream and grit. would work well IMO but none the less her voice still gives me shivers down my spine, her vocals are amazzing
I'm not sure if you cover the same song multiple times, but you should definitely check out the Japanese version covered by Miori Celesta. Best rendition of the song imo.
