Have you seen his idol performance ‘whole lotta love’ ? Led zeplin have never cleared the use of their songs for live tv before, until,Adam, they knew he wouldn’t f’ck it up
Roger Taylor and Phil Spike Edney were blown away with Adam Lambert's rendition of Whole Lot Of Love and they've included the song in their QUEEN and Adam Lambert setlists tour.
I love that song - what an energy!! When I drive to clients of mine and feel that I´m a bit down I listen to that song several times as loud as it gets in my car - it really works!
His superpower is his voice and stage performance! Incredible! It lacked nothing for me other then it wasn't long enough. Metal with KISS on the Idol finale was fire 🔥. His outfit was sooo in sync with the KISS vibe!
One of my Adam favorites! I LOVE the music video to this - it’s one of my very favorites of Adam- this song is just so fun and funky!! Fricken Toodles!
He has a song named "feel something" it is really beautiful and soft and absolutely in different styles. He has a live session for that and you can check it out for a kind of new experience from him 💖✨
There are elements in this song that remind me so much of some Prince songs, it's so rock and funk mixed, that bass and his falsetto and the all girl band. LOVE Adam's attitude, he always performs his songs, not just sings!
Something to remember… for months each year he’s singing Queen songs… many written by Freddie, who pushed boundaries every which way!! This song always reminds me of Another One Bites the Dust, which Queen often have in their set list - and Adam kills it too!! Great reaction, thank-you!
I happened upon a performance that I had forgotten about. I think you would love it because it is a perfect fusion of Adam’s powerful voice with some of the best guitar playing of Brian May. The song is “Love Kills” by Queen +Adam Lambert. If I recall, the LA performance is a great one, but really, there are several good examples. By the way, you are no doubt one of my favorite music reactors. Anyone can see that you have a great passion and enthusiasm for what you do, so thanks so much!
I love that you seem to genuinely appreciate Adam! For anyone who is missing the big note, I honestly felt that way too the first time I listened to it, but once you get used to not having it there it's a really fun, dance song. I absolutely loved the version he sang at Sydney Mardi Gras this year! 💚
Such a great cover of Marc Bolan T.Rex "20th Century Boy" (Glam Nation Live) - Best vocals I have ever heard. Dynamic vocals from Lambert with a tight band that goes all in. Glamblowing. Fricking awesome and these were cool!!!
I don't know your procedure for requesting reviews. You mentioned you would like to hear Adam do metal. His performance of "West Coast" live at KOKO in London is close. He has performed this song in other settings but the KOKO performance is other wordly. Think you would enjoy.
Thanks for reacting this. There is a video for this song, which is one of my favorites especially since they did it in one day in New York City in the summer in 95 degree heat. The Video makes what he is trying to do clearer and that is to try to tell everyone, while wearing Elton John sunglasses, lol, than we all have our own super powers and need to use them. I saw him in person at The Venetian, you're right his voice in person is incredible, it's pretty awesome on video but doesn't begin to match what he sounds like in person, not to mention all his fans sing his songs back to him and he loves that.
Y'all are UNAWARE that Adam's 2010 sophomore album Tresspassing went #1 was ALSO A FUNK ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first openly gay artist to go #1. He was depressed and so he wrote FEEL SOMETHING and taking back his SUPERPOWER.
Five years ago on a video on Alice @973, Adam made it clear that yes he can sing metal, but he realized he just didn't like it, it wasn't his vibe. He says he does love good rock songs and sang some Metallica songs at a concert in Australia a few years ago. He did mention that the band he belonged to years ago did sing metal.
You know I was thinking about something more to your taste like you said metaly rocky stuffs I have some good suggestion like: Show must go on with Queen, this one is absolutely breathtaking, marry the night (glee), and one of his American idol's auditions "born to be wild" this one is amazing too and I would say it is one of my favorites. I can't say they are metal it's more to rock but the three of them are really powerful and fantastic and more close to your taste. I bet you'll be loving them 😍❤️
You want to hear Adam sing metal? Not sure is these are metal but he really rocked them hard: "Born to Be Wild" by Stephenwolf - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aFCgIkG1Ttc.html Medley with KISS on American Idol - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZQMgahJ5U4Y.html
Love your reactions to Adam's music. This song is from the Velvet album which was more retro with songs from all sides of rock. I can see your anticipation for the high noted ever since you started reacting to him. Adam sang Born to be Wild on American Idol and A Change is Gonna Come. Both have glory notes as I like to call them, but on the first song, the notes reach the stratosphere.
It was super smooth and funk. But the way they were building the song, we never got any type of voice explosion that they were hinting. For me at lest, I feel unsatisfied. It was a tasty beverage but it ddin't quench my thirst, left me feeling that like I need to go and hear another song that make my head bang.
