Jin was the one who did the run that you mentioned, it was his part 😊 JK also provided the background harmonies throughout the song and all vocal line did adlibs throughout the song particularly in the Pre- chorus, Chorus and end. Rapline lyrics were heart tugging poignant. The nods to so many of their songs, their feelings for Army for a decade and looking forward to being together always - powerful and touching. Yoongi's production and perfect instrumentation with the guitar and bass - sublime. Namjoon and Hobi wrote beautiful lyrics that will stand the test of time. John I think we all cried…It’s emotional hearing all of them sing together in a new song. I lost it as soon as I heard Jin’s voice. We get it - just hearing Jin and Hobi singing with everyone else. Their voices were phenomenal - I know they recorded it before Jin left so back in December - makes me tear up even more knowing that there are 5 more to go and leave us for a year and a half. The youngest will get me the most even if he is gonna be 26 in September and I don’t even want to think about Jimin, V and NJ leaving. Suga will be doing community service, so not as scary. Such a great gift for us and I can’t wait for them to sing it live for us - maybe on the 13th with that stage with all the chairs? Them using a lot more acoustic and live music is just awesome as well. Thanks John Reaves!💜

I cried immediately when I heard Jin's voice the first time on this record, and then again when I heard Suga's part because he's using formal Korean which he doesn't usually do and it makes it just sound so much more genuine and heartfelt. This song feels like a giant hug for the boys and I couldn't have needed this more than right now. Going through a bit of a hard time and the boys always know how to make me feel better

For me the harmonizing and layering was showing that they are always together in and through their music. Each member stood out in their own way, but it was beautiful because they were together.

You aren't alone dude - I was crying like a baby and I wasn't entirely sure why. Was it the STUNNING way JK started it off and PUNCHED me right in the gut with that, "Will you stay?" Was it the vocal line piling on top with some of the most amazing vocals, harmonies, ad libs that I've ever heard in one of their songs? The rap dazzling us with their "sing song" version of rapping that was soft enough for this song but added so much to it's tone? The emotional acoustic guitar? Just having all 7 singing together? Wondering when they will again? Asking us to stay by their sides through this 2nd chapter?? SO MANY EMOTIONS! IT'S SO GOOD!!!!! I just put it on repeat - I knew I needed to stream stuff between - but I just needed to listen to it for an hour straight - and then some more. This is a fabulous song and marvellous gift to us. BTS never fail to give us such special music. They are a group of very special people. Have you listened to Jimin's "Letter" from his album which hes just dedicated to ARMY ! It broke my heart when I first heard it as it's another member we're going to be saying to much sooner than we we'd all like. I can honestly say that listening to BTS has turned my life into a much brighter place.
