Tablo, the singer who sang in English, was on Suchwita. Great episode. (Suga fangirled a bit!) He collaborated on “Indigo.” Tablo was really hassled at one time. He graduated from Stanford and haters tried to claim he didn’t, even after releasing his transcript and Stanford confirming he graduated from there. He’s super smart. Yeah, they've collabed with Suga before too. They have such a vast, important discography. While different ofc, their lyrics are just as deep in their way as BTS is in theirs.

I love Epik High! Went to their concert last time they were in the States & they were incredible! Going to their concert this September in DC & I can’t wait! Ok. Check out Tablo’s version of Eyes, Nose, Lips (& his collaboration with Taeyang!), also Rain Song, Rosario, Gift (feat. Park Ji Yoon), Wannabe, Super Rare, Wordkill, Coffee… I could go on, because they are amazing! I discovered them by accident. I saw an article somewhere online about people playing Lullaby for a Cat & their cats would actually fall asleep. 😂 so, I checked out their album “sleepless in ___” & I loved it. I’m so glad you are checking them out!
I knew Epik High since 2015. My first ever BTS content was Tablo on Suchwita, he talked about RM and I got curious. Had no idea the host (aka Suga) was from BTS too 😂. Now I am ARMY 💜💜💜
I love Epik High. They are the Korean artists I listen to most after BTS and members. Their recent album Strawberry is one of my most listened to albums, and pairs perfectly with Indigo. I often play them back to back. Tablo is a poet like Joon. After 20 (ish?) years in the game the light stick is a very new happening 🖕😂
They are gonna be at teh Riviera in Chicago in September. (tickets still available) I saw them live last year and it is such a fun show. Tablo was talking about a light stick last year a few months before they released theirs, and this is the quote: "True story: when Epik High was at YG, they offered to make us a lightstick and we asked for one that looks like a middle finger. And that, my friends, is why we don’t have one." THey just had their 20 year anniversary so I wonder how long ago they pitched that lightstick haha. I had of course heard about them because BTS, but one night I was watching a reaction to Eyes, Nose, Lips and the whole comment section was "go watch Tablo's remix, it will change your life." It did! 😂 When I started looking into him and found out he was in Epik High that started my deep dive. I have been cursing the universe the last 3 or 4 years because I can never make it to any of their N American shows. 😭
I saw them live last year and they were awesome! Music's awesome, and Tablo's stage banter is hilarious. The only bad part was that we were on the second floor at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, and that building is like 110 years old, and it's just a big open expanse of elderly wood floor with minimal support, and Epik High was like "JUMP! JUMP!" and everyone did and it was like being on a trampoline! I thought for sure the floor was gonna collapse and kill us all! 😆 Going again in August, but a different, ground floor venue, thank the gods.
OMG you're gonna love Epik High! They are so chaotic and chill at the same time. I checked out their discography after their member TABLO appeared on Suchwita Ep. 3. One of my favorite songs of theirs is "Screen Time" (ft. Hoshi of SEVENTEEN). TABLO has collabed with RM too, on Indigo, and Jackson Wang too! (And he had a cameo in a recent Stray Kids MV so I have my fingers crossed for a future collab there too. 🙏)
Epik High are amazing live!! Was lucky enough to see them last year. They're one of my absolute favorit groups ever! Some of my favorit songs are "Rosario", "Born hater" and "Mr. Doctor". Some of their sadder songs like "Here come the regrets" and "Over" are also masterpieces.
I’ve absolutely loved Epik High for a very long time and seeing them live was just so amazing 😭 Definetly check out their old old music, lyrical geniuses my favorite songs are Fan, One, Trot, Umbrella is a fan favorite, Lesson One Tablo’s word and Lesson 5 are great as well
also I've been to their concerts twice and it's THE best. I like more of their chill, existential, sad music, and the concert is nothing like that, it's ENERGY, you get why they've been around for 20 years already. I hope you go and have the best time 🙌🏻

If you can go to their show you Definitely should. I've seen them twice and if they come to europe on this tour i'm going again. Can't stop me! But asking for my favourite epik high song is unfair, they're been around for 20+ years and they haven't released a single bad track. I guess for more recent releases with subs, i would check out Rosario, or Screentime ft. Hoshi of Seventeen. They have also released tracks with Suga and Rm of BTS. SUga produced a song called Eternal Sunshine and RM featured on a track called All Day. They have songs featuring amazing artists like Nell and IU, etc. Namjoon even made a joke once asking if there is a female artist Epik High Haven't collabed with. Have fun digging into their vast discography. You will find so many gems ❤
Their light stick is called a "Pak Yu Bong" :P keep in mind that the Korean language doesn't have a "f" or a "ck" Their mixtape is called "PUMP" and the entire thing is killer. They have an EP titled "Strawberry" and they've got Hwasa and Jackson Wang as features on two tracks. Also... THAY ARE INSANE LIVE! I saw them in Atlanta.
I love Lesson series of Tablo. (1~5, then, 0) but as an old fan, what I love about this album is that they brought out much references from one of their master piece albums, Remap The Human Soul. (4th) which has freaking almost 30 tracks in it.
Tablo colab with Stray Kids coming soon….(referenced at end of ‘Megaverse’ MV by Tablo). There’s a podcast about his haters problems on Vice (‘Authentic: The Story of Tablo’). Epik High’s stuff is poetry. l love reading the lyrics.

This is not my favourite release of theirs - they are however my favourite K-Rap group and their live shows are amazing - Tablo could actually be a stand-up artist !
