She wrote this song when she and her previous company, Hummingbird who signed her when she was 15, came to an FULL STOP. Most of the time when she perofrm this song live, she cried. By the way, G.E.M. was the only artist in the Company and she make money for the whole Company

This lady has a huge HEART and is one of the most unpretentious persons I have seen, would love to meet her! If you want to know about her start in music check out, search (G.E.M. G-Force) a 4 part video biography (watch concert scene after the credits) of her early days in HK and her arrival in China. And this is where the record company started doing sneaky things to where she had to call it quits with them in 2019. Her previous album "City Zoo" is also fabulous in that each song inter-mixes between the humanistic and base animal traits in society. "Selfless"--chameleon , "Flyaway"--owl, "Don't Force It"--hedge hog, "Miss Similar"--the dogma aspects of the music & beauty industries , "Long After", etc. etc. She is amazing!

China has some really amazing singers. I have several favorites including GEM. I discovered her recently. You really need to check out an amazing singer Zhou Shen. He is a huge star in China. Called the walking CD since he sounds incredible live like he is in the studio. He has 4 songs in the top 20 right now all different. He just pre-released two songs leading up to a new album. His newest Mirage is amazing. His voice is ethereal and does not sound like anyone else. Start with songs like Unravel, Ring the Doorbell, Song of Heaven Island, Heaven, all live performances. He has not performed Mirage live yet. Hope you take a look.
