After reading his testimony with lawmakers today he just became one of the few people on my heroes list. I had never heard of him a year ago but saw him perform live online. Just two songs but I was hooked and then saw him live and it was a great show. His honesty in the transcript of his testimony meant more than anyone who hasn't battled addiction will understand. I hope for once somebody in Washington was listening. Drug abuse shouldn't be a crime, no one wants to be a drug addict.
Love Jelly Roll. This song and Son of a Sinner and Save Me all have gone to number one on the Country Charts. He also raps and has an incredible back story to his life 🥰
The reason Jelly Roll is singing country is due to him attending the Grand Ole Opry when Craig Morgan appeared and sung "Almost Home" and there is a video on youtube of him performing this song with Craig. Jelly gave testimony on why he changed genres. Also this song is played on country, Christian and contemporary stations. His songs are universal.
What i love about Jelly Roll. Voice raspy velvet comforter and true life facts that can't be refuted. I just look up from time to time and think to Him,' well you're busy. I'm helping myself. Should you spare a moment or a thought feel free and take the wheel but the car will keep on or 2 feet and a heartbeat.
"Hard cover King James been saving dust on the nightstand..." the line that grabbed me as well. Great song, great artist! And this video just got added to my best reactions playlist! New subscriber too!
I saw an interview where he said he used to think he was a pretty good rapper and an okay singer. He said "turns out I had it backwards". love his singing!
I never heard of Jelly Roll until this song the man can write and sing songs that will move your heart as we have seen by your reaction but that is how everyone reacts the first time they hear him 🙂 Check out this live version ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qFq_L-ANNNQ.html
Most of his music videos are amazing. You really need to check out son of a Sinner it’s got more of a rock vibe I think you would like and then check out the same asshole it’ll give you a flavor of jelly rolls rap.
