I love seeing them interact with the staff or other artists or people in general. Korean artists in general are very reserved when interacting with others for a few reasons 1. Culturally, they have to show respect to elders & artists are usually younger than the staff 2. Toxic treatments in entertainment industries, artists must "know their places" to get good shots/parts in the filming 3 Avoid rumours, some people take things out of line & circulate rumours about artists' "bad personality/behaviour" 4. Many reality shows just have cameras 24/7 filming them, no privacy. The artists might not be comfortable with cameras/cameramen For BTS, the company started from small, a lot of the staff "grow" with them and BigHit management has a healthy 2-way-respect culture set with them. The hundreds of Run BTS episodes help them be comfortable with cameras & the same crew. How many times have we seen the production team loosen the rules to help them win XD Of course, BTS members' personalities play a big part, humble, caring, playful and truthful, it's hard not to love them as artists/colleagues.
I totally felt for the camera director, I've been stuck in places a few times and you are just at the mercy of others and you are just stuck and can't do anything, lol. It's a waiting game so I just really felt for the guy when I first watched that episode 💜
Thanks for sharing this, John. That's one of the things I love about BTS, they are humble and relate to their staff in such a playful, good-natured way and we see in their series many instances of them concerned about whether their staff have eaten, or giving them food or sharing jokes. DJ Jino once commented when reacting to Jin's behind the scenes video of The Astronaut that quite a few stars don't even know the names of their staff or what they do. We have seen the members hug their dancers at the end of the concert. They are such special guys.
Thanks John, your compilation reactions are a delight to see, and always appreciate you giving the flowers to the creators/editors of the compilations 💜 your message at the end was very sweet, I needed it 💜 Also question, did you end up changing plans for Tuesdays to be "watching live performances" days? Is that now another day and I missed it?
It's all about the ears John, kids always forget the ears and get stuck. I'm going back to Korea in November again this year. First time last year and can't wait to go back.
Tysvm went to work and drove to Seward Alaska to watch the mountain marathon in Seward. I live in sterling Alaska. Really enjoy all your posts ty for posting this again. I am always curious of all the interactions with the crew and body guards. I like seeing this interaction. Hello from Alaska.
