Lots of great Dimash content from this show. It's the chinese reality show "Shine Super Brothers S2". The contestans (singers, rappers, actors, dancers) was devided into teams performing and completing different tasks together. Vaness Wu (frontman), Elvis Wang (deep voice/piano), Bie KPN (DQ's "partner" during We Are The Champions), and the 2 guys I can't remember the name of was Dimash's Team mates.

These artists were all in a terrific Chinese performing contest. All fantastic young men. 4 guys were chosen at the end. The bass singer was one of them.

One of my Dimash most favorite ending note and riff.

Dimash was on a Chinese tv reality show called "Shine! Super Brothers!" S2 2021 on YouKu channel and there are various videos of the guys backstage and performing. It was a "competition" of teams put together at the beginning episode. (Not really, mostly pretend competition with audience voting and about 3 judges, I think it was 3.) It was very funny especially the episode where teams dressed as soldiers in battle gear would be pitted against each other with rifles shooting light blasts that recorded a "hit" if it landed. Hilarious episode. There were team sports like volley ball and a scramble for a basketball. Many very cute clips of backstage moments and rehearsals. What's really funny was the reaction of the "judges" to Dimash singing. They would critique each of the other guys but when they got to Dimash it was always, "beautiful singing"..."beautiful". 🤣 One lady judge actually asked him "why are you here?" Dimash had to scramble for an answer because he is so far beyond anyone in the competition it was a puzzle for them. I believe Dimash's Chinese managers wanted to put him in a televised show to gain visibility quickly right after the 2 years he was kept out of China due to the quarantine. The tv show was meant to do that but even one of the team members stated in an interview that every one of them could easily be replaced and it wouldn't make a difference but no one could replace Dimash. Unfortunately Dimash was suffering heavily from some sort of sinus infection/allergies/breathing difficulties where he had to go to the emergency room several times. He had to drop out after four or five weeks. But he did sing three times, once solo and 2 times with the team. The Queen medley is the first team singing performance. The second team performance was a bit of work for Dimash since no one had any ideas about how to stage it so Dimash and his team at home came up with the staging ideas and Dimash designed the song parts. He worked all night to get it together and it turned out gorgeous. The great thing with Dimash is that he can always make himself heard even among a bunch of other good singers. When everyone else reaches their limits, Dimash still has an octave to go - and is free to use it as he wants.

Great reaction, John. This is another one of those collaborations that Dimash did while he frequently go to China for. Similar to that other one he did the Queen Medley with the Super Vocal Boys. Like you said, every single one has their own very nice voice in their range, but Dimash simply risen above everyone else and takes the highest possible notes and run with it. Well, because he is the only one who can reach those crazy high notes without cracking up or have his voice fail him. Love and respect for Dimash.

You should watch this season, honestly. Watching the struggles that each artist faced in bringing their extremely varied talents into this performance (and several others) is so intriguing. Also, I love that Elvis is a country artist. That is just not something we see a lot of with Asian artists so he's a very unique dynamic here! Some of these guys aren't even singers; one got famous as a dancer, one of them pretty much only raps... It was a really interesting season to watch.

At this competition, Dimash did a different version of Stranger which is special. Apparently, he had to go off immediately after to have a sinus operation, I believe, so he struggled with the final note. There is footage of the team taking part in sports events and at one point Dimash was giving vocal training to one of the team. It was fun to watch.

I remember when you first discovered Dimash. You have come a long way in a short amount of time.

Today he gonna premiere 2 songs and looks freaking wholesome..

❤💥In this program, each participant knew something different and learned from each other. There were four such groups, they took part in different tasks, the one who won had the first right to choose a song for the group. Then they planned the interpretation, costumes, the appearance of the stage, the way of communication, etc. So they worked hard to get the best performance of the song. Have you seen the second song of the group Dimasha in white clothes? They also interpreted it beautifully, planned the stage and delivered a perfect performance.

This was a brilliant showcase of very talented accomplished artists. The participants were asked to bring something with them that represented an achievement they had accomplished and these were put in glass cases for the show. I remember one of Dimash’s team mates was shocked when Di explained he started singing at 5 years of age . Unfortunately Di had to leave the competition early as he was unwell however there was one other magnificent performance for the show that Di was a part of which I will find and add at a later date and provide the link for. Always love your reactions. ♥️💕🕊

The bass singer is Elvis Wang. The leader with shiny pants is Vanness Wu, who speaks perfect English as he grew up in California and he's an actor. Watching Super Shine Bros S2, Vanness said he was super excited to meet Dimash, as he's Kazakhstan's national treasure. Lol. The show aired in 2022. Sadly Dimash had left the show after their 2nd performance, due to an illness.

There is a wonderful song they all sang - I don't know the Chinese title - from this competition the tune is similar to Danny Boy. It is amazing. Dimash and his team helped to design the song sequencing with the team. Its very powerful.

You should check out Dimash singing Olympico on the same show. It is very different. This show is really good and funny. Singers already known in China are split into groups and they have compitions in sing ing, sports (volleyball), paintball, like a army drill . I believe it was done in 2018 just after the Singer 2017.

Thank you. This is from the Super Shine Brother's show in China. There's several performances from each contestant and there was other events besides singing. Dimash did 'Stranger' and it was different in the middle section from the one we know. It is astounding!!! He does things vocally that are nuts and I can't imagine anyone else being able to do what he did. There's footage of the other contestants watching his performance and they are dumbfounded. Dimash didn't understand any Chinese while there and had to work through that barrier. Dimash also left early because he was ill with rhinitis and had to go and have a procedure done. Shine! Super Brothers S2 is a fun contest to watch. It went on for weeks. There are about 5 teams in competition, doing a fascinating variety of things including great singing and showcasing the many talents of the men. The leader of Dimash's team is named Van Ness Wu, (Gold slacks) who was born and raised in California. He was raised speaking English and Manderin. He wanted to act and eventually moved to Taiwan where a character he played on a TV show lead to his becoming member of the boy band "F4" in his extreme youth. He has his own recording career (Chinese and English) and several historical Chinese shows on netflix. He, Dimash and their team won the " Shine! Super Brothers" contest, but Van Ness was not allowed to win best single performer because he is American and not a Chinese national. The same thing happened to Dimash. He had to settle for 2nd place on "The Singer" . But no one was fooled. I love everything Dimash has recorded. Surprised if you like Queen that you haven't yet checked out Marc Martel. He did the vocals for the Bohemian Rhapsody film. Was hired by Roger Taylor to front their official tribute band Queen Extravaganza. After several years with QE, he formed his own tribute band and now tours the world with them. His home studio version of BoRap has something like 57M views, but he does almost all things Queen, as well as other covers and his own original music. A couple of my favourites of his are Too Much Love Will Kill You - duet with Jonathan Cilia Faro, The Show Must Go On - live from Montreux 2016 (available on the Queen official channel), Who Wants To Live Forever (home studio).

This was really weird show but Dimash did the best out of it. There was some demands of course , but Dimash did the arrangement for them in one night and then went to bed. One of them is pure rapper so he tried to teach him sing with use of the diaphragm 😅
