They are the ultimate sexy men of KPOP (of course they all are) but MX just has a magical way of performing a song. Love their songs Dramarama, Jealousy, Love Killa, Shoot Out, Gambler, Love, Beautiful, Beastmode & Rush Hour -- you can't pick a bad one by them.
Beautiful Liar is such a unique song structurally and melodically because the song embodies the meaning of the lyrics in every form. The lyrics talk about a toxic relationship which the Monsta X cannot let go of they know they will suffer but they keep holding on seeking for love and the fulfillment they will never achieve. The song starts off strong, the beat maintains a constant driving force to the song that never lets up, there is never a drop and the structure psyches you from a regular 2 verse bridge that keeps your attention but then leaves you wanting more when it ends. The song 3 minutes but it feels shorter and it makes for a perfect loop ear worm song. Then playing this song, I find myself replaying it 2 or 3 times before I feel satisfied. Again that references what a toxic relationship is like when someone is stuck in a cycle of getting hurt and then gaslighted into staying just for the cycle to repeat. HAHA unlike a toxic relationship the song is GREAT hahaha Genius level composition. I recommend MONSTA X "ALL IN" and "STUCK" they have really cool EDM Rap music.
Monsta x never follow the trends, they ARE the trends, the pioneers of "noise music" in kpop, they are amazing, please do more reactions 😊😊 I suggest you gambler, beautiful, rush hour, love killa ❤
Monsta X has always been outside the trend of K-pop tracks. They’ve been known as the outliers in song production. They are always hard hitting with their title tracks but their b-sides are on another level, but they are able to do ballads super well. They are just an amazing group and you should also check out Wonho, a former member who’s now a soloist. He has some amazing tracks as well like Eye on You, On and On, Losing You and Open Mind. He is such an overlooked artist in the industry.

And I really appreciate you picking up on their harmonies because Monsta X vocalists each have their own unique vocal color and they're not recognized for that or the beautiful harmonies they do on their songs!! Wait you reacted to monsta x before? Where can I find those reactions? I know you reacted to jooheon freedom before. And monsta wanted to do something different with this song. Something unexpected. If I remember right hyungwon who has that jacket you commented on he wrote the vocalists lyrics along with IM and jooheon the rappers. But they didn’t produce it. They do produce alot of there songs though. Also hyungwon is a sub rapper also. But our rappers can sing and our singers can rap also. They are multitalented. Yes monsta x does have ballad songs. But they are known to be one of the most hard hitting group in kpop. They push the limit a ton. Most of there title tracks are hard hitting. And a lot of the b sides are hard hitting also. Monsta x is an ace group. They also have solo careers also. IM has solo stuff. Jooheon has solo stuff. Kihyun has two albums which the second album hyungwon wrote a song or two for kihyun (main vocalist) and hyungwon has been writing monsta x songs since the fatal love album. And he also wrote the title track for his and shownu (leaders) monsta x first unit. He also wrote a b side for there album. Us fans call shownu and hyungwon unit XXL. But are known as shownu x hyungwon. You can’t go wrong with monsta x. They actually seem like a band you would really love. I hope you do more. And I’m sure you have heard the American song no diggity so you should def react to monsta x song called love. But please someone direct me to other reactions of monsta x he has done please. Beside the jooheon one. That one I did see.

Monsta X just the best of the best they have so many great track to pick from I can’t think of one bad song from them . Some you might enjoy are Shoot out , Alligator, Jealousy, Gambler, Rush hour , Love , Middle of the night , One day , Ride with you just to name a few
Monsta X definitely have a more "bad boy" vibe than a lot of kpop groups... some of their older MVs have such an edgy street feel to them (the productions aren't expensive and they aren't flashy).
The are only 2 kpop bands that I've listed to every album and enjoy over 70% of every song on each album: Monsta X and The Rose. They have some amazing title tracks, but I feel like Monsta X's b-sides are super underrated... they aren't as flashy but they really show off the vocal capabilities of all the members. They also allow certain members to shine since b-sides aren't required to have EVERY member singing with even line distribution like title tracks do.
you should check out the rap line's Sambakja ..I think you will be very impressed with it.. the guys also have some soft songs that have really good harmonies. Someone's Someone is a very good one .. in my opinion all of there songs are good.. bsides are just as good as title songs.. they even have two full english albums.. not many have that.. they are also silly as hell.. you should check out their tv stuff...you wont regret it
Love this group sooooooo much 🥹 I always recommend the title track Love as a suggestion but they can do no wrong especially when it comes to b sides; Perfect Girl and Broken Heart are a couple of favorites of mine. If you want to get lit on fire listen to Crescendo off the same album as Beautiful Lier, Reason
I suggest watching Shoot Out, Dramarama, Alligator, Jealousy (early title tracks) as well as Burning Up, AND, Sorry Im Not Sorry (later b-sides) Also, "Find You" MV is AMAZING, however, the release also occured within days of Wonho leaving the group due to false alligations of illegal marijuana use so the sad song had such a bigger impact on the fandom
